Data field to display air quality (PM2.5, particulate matter, not ozone) pulled from the EPA airNOW site, IQAir, or PurpleAir. It updates by default every twenty minutes.

The AQI value is color-coded according to the values on the EPA site. It also will beep when the value goes into the unhealthy range (red or greater).

Tapping the field switches between PM2.5 and ozone display, when present. PurpleAir doesn't return ozone, only PM2.5, but it does seem to update faster than the EPA site does.

Added a third provider, IQAir.

There will be a tiny on-screen indicator for each of the three data providers.

I downloaded the field, but it is very difficult to find....i want to add to watchface. I have asthma and need to monitor AQI, but I cant put this on a face or even in the loop. It is not helpful if the only way I can get to it is to start an activity that I am not actually doing. I love that I can pick a data source...others only use EPA which is shyte. There are only 4 Epa sensors in 10 miles of me but ⁴ purpleair sensors i. 4 miles.

I was riding with this app today and was grateful to know the air quality I was riding in. I even stopped to compare the number on the garmin with that from the airnow.gov site and they did indeed agree! Hopefully the local fires will soon be put out so I wont need this app. I like the color coding too.
