TASK REMINDER 3.0 – REBUILT FROM THE GROUND UP

Task Reminder has been completely redesigned and rebuilt to provide a simpler, more reliable reminder experience.

You no longer need to keep Task Reminder open to receive alerts. Set up your reminders, leave the app, and Task Reminder will alert you in the background when they are due.

Whether there are important things you need to remember every day, particular routines you want to keep on track, or one-off events such as appointments, meetings and birthdays, Task Reminder helps make sure they aren't forgotten.

Set up to 10 reminders, each with its own name and time. A reminder can be recurring on any combination of days – every day, weekdays, weekends or just the particular days you choose – or scheduled as a one-off event on a specific date.

When a reminder is due, Task Reminder generates an alert even when the app isn't open. Supported devices can also provide sound and/or vibration according to the device's capabilities and settings.

Open Task Reminder at any time for a clear overview of what's coming next. The main screen shows your NEXT reminder – or NOW when one is currently due – together with the number of reminders scheduled for tomorrow.

Tap the main screen or press the appropriate button on non-touch devices to see your complete Today schedule, including reminders that have already passed, are currently due or are still to come. From there you can also view Tomorrow's schedule.

IMPORTANT FOR EXISTING USERS

Version 3.0 introduces an entirely new reminder and scheduling system. If you are upgrading from an earlier version, please open Settings after installing the update and configure your reminders using the new Reminder Type and recurring-day options.

If you previously tried Task Reminder and found that having to leave the app running didn't suit you, Version 3.0 is worth another look. The reminder system has been rebuilt specifically so that alerts can operate in the background, while the new streamlined interface focuses entirely on your reminders and schedule.

If you have any issues, PLEASE visit, and carefully read, my FAQ page first (https://www.bvdesigns.info/faq) and follow the advice and instructions given before using the "Contact Developer" link - most of the answers to your questions should be there. If contact is made first and the answer is already there, you will be referred back to the FAQ page. Your co-operation on this would be most greatly appreciated.

**Note on colours: Due to the display technology, some of the Garmin system colours may look muted on actual devices. You will not be able to see things on your device as they are on a computer, due to different technologies for the Garmin device display, and different monitors on the computer which host the simulator.**
