The CORE widget requires the external CORE device at is worn on the chest general clipped onto a heart rate monitor strap. The 'Shake CORE' message that you are seeing on your Garmin devices is displayed when it can not discover your ANT+ CORE device. Regards the CORE team

Thank you for your input. In your version it says 1.1.0 and the current version of CORE Body Temperature Monitor Widget for Connect-IQ is 1.4.0 We also recommend that you are update to the current version of the Garmin Connect-IQ app on your iOS or Android phone. Ensure that the CORE Body Temperature Monitor device has the current firmware (0.3.17) and when connecting, make sure that your CORE is turned on (shake it and check that the green LED flashes) and is positioned close to your smartphone and Garmin device. Garmin lists the compatible devices, some very old Garmin devices are not supported. Would you be able to check that everything is up-to-date and then try connecting from the CORE connect-IQ to your CORE Body Temperature Monitoring Device. If these steps are all completed and you are still unable to successfully connect to your CORE, could you please contact us directly using the chat-option on our website.
