The best! Let you download new route when activity is being recorded. Just remember to set route to PUBLIC! Otherwise will not load. Dear author, you are a hero :)

This widget solves the biggest functionality lack in Garmin edge devices. It is a normal case that you go for a ride and during the ride just want to change the course - perhaps the weather gets worse or you're feeling good and want to ride more than originally planned. This widget by far is the only way to change the navigation course to another without stopping the activity. Dear author - the Edge device is much better because of you!

Thank you for adding the functionality that Garmin should have added from the beginning. However I believe there is room for big usability improvements such as a possibility to rearrange the import options of even pinning a favorite one. Also the number entry method is terribly clunky, a simple keyboard could be better if possible. Furthermore the Plus codes are impossible to use as actual plus codes are 6 symbols and not 10 as the widget requires. Still even given the problems I am really grateful for the effort!

Thanks for the thoughtful review. You can (now) move some of the Download (import) options to the main menu (useful for those you use frequently). Yes, the number entry is certainly clunky but writing the code for a simple keyboard would be a lot of work. It would also make the app/widget bigger (and it's already too big to run on some devices) With RWGPS routes, downloading by number isn't really needed anyway (you can get a free RWGPS account and pin the routes you are interested in). The 6 character plus code is actually incomplete: it needs a nearby city to be complete. For example: “xv6q+99 Glen Rock, New Jersey” and “87g7xv6q+99” are the same ("87g7" indicates the block the coordinate exists in). Unfortunately, the 10 character code is hard to get.

Used daily on a three month tour. One suggestion would be to be able to skip the Confirm step on the sendpoints option.

This widget is in daily use on my Edge 1030 & Fenix 6 and has proved indispensable for wirelessly copying routes, waypoints & POI's directly from RideWithGPS, Garmin Connect, SendPoints, laptop & even from my phone/tablet via the GExporter Android App. All of which can be done, whilst already recording an activity, which is something Garmin themselves haven't managed to implement. Communication & support from the developer is excellent, with help, advice & tips on app usage & swift resolution of any issues. Bravo

As other reviews have said, this is a very handy widget to have as you can send POIs from Sendpoints even when an activity is running. However, I’ve had a few crashes that locked up my Garmin 830 but it generally only requires a reset to get you back and most times that has kept my current data intact so I can continue my activity without losing anything. The only improvement I could request is a proper keypad to punch in the numbers and letters instead of a basic scroll function. Fixing the bugs and keypad would make this widget a 5 out of 5.

Not sure why you are seeing the crashes. It might not be the app at all. A weak internet connection might also be the problem. I use the app (not widget) regularly on a 1030 without issues. Entering the numbers is not so hot but it’s what Garmin provides. I want to provide an alternative but it would be a lot of work. The app now displays a list of your RWGPS pinned routes (much more convenient than entering the route number).

Just brilliant!!! Use the app on my Edge 830 and MARQ Expedition. Quickest way to enter an address and generate a route to get there.
