Groups doesn't work because of autoadded "group" prefix. New HA group versions are without the "group" prefix, so it doesn't work. A fix would be nice. But Scenes Do what they should and it's working nicely.

Works great through android phone and an iPhone as well. No latency whatsoever. Simple to setup, if you like to play with Home Assistant.

Great app . Are there plans to bring back support for garmin 1030 as support now only appears to be for watches. I did use this a lot from my garmin 1030 to turn on the heating whilst out riding on my bike

I am using HA very 2022.5.3 and groups doesn't have anymore the prefix groups. but the type of device group, example lights. This application force the prefix groups. in the configuration so it doesn't work

Works perfectly on a Fenix7X Solar. Android Garmin Apps are broken at the moment are can't save settings (took them a long time to acknowledge that, let alone fix?). I managed to get Garmin Express running on a VM, works perfectly. Long Live Tokens, groups and scenes working perfectly. Would love if a Sensor could be read (Temperature) and displayed in the Glance data, that would be amazing!

Works great but an option to remove the title screen and show entities directly would be nice. The current implementation requires me to tap on HassControl before seeing my entities.

Works well once I figured out a few things. I was not able to get long term tokens to work. Restarting the phone was most effective at restarting the app. Restarting the app was helpful in switching from token to non-token. I think it remembers the last session with hassio and that causes 404 not found problems. I am still working on getting my scenes and and groups.yaml setup properly.

Great support from the developer on my previous post, unfortunately Garmin does not allow to change Ratting, so creating new one. I would really appreciate to have option to show temperature sensors as well.

Hi, that doesn't sound very good. I can't think of anything I have changed that would change that behaviour, could you please describe the issue a little further, like error codes etc. Then I might be able to fix it. Feel free to open an issue on GitHub, it would be easier to keep the discussion there.

Does not work, I get error message "Failed. Check settings, invalid url", even though the url is correct. I tried both internal ip address and external web address from ddns.

Internal/private IP addresses won’t work, since neither HTTP is not supported or self signed certificates. This is a limitation from Garmin and nothing I can fix. If you contact me through ConnectIQ instead of writing a review it will be easier for me to help you. And please attach the url you are using. Or if you open an issue on GitHub. But with the little information I have it sounds that you are using http and not https. Like mentioned above http is not supported due to limitations from Garmin. This is clearly stated in the documentation.

very nice idea. this could be a perfect HA enhancement. Unfortunately I have problems to read entities from group. Might be a problem with https and self signed certificates. I'm not sure how IQ handles imported CA on Android. BTW Login works with Token only. Same Problem?
