I use this for crossfit. I think I've tried all the others and this is the ONLY one I've ever been satisfied with. That said, I'm not tracking every exercise every day. That would take forever and the app my box uses already tracks all that anyway. What this does do, and does very well, is tell me when my heart is about to explode (I'm almost 50, and the "HI" part of "HIIT" kicks my butt!), tracks my heart rate all throughout my daily workouts, tells me how many calories I've burned (accurately, too), and nearly always confirms my suspicions about whether or not I've pushed too hard through my training score. It's accurate, everything I need, and nothing I don't. Highly recommend.

Major issues with this app and Fenix 3 with chest strap HR. Seems accurate during a set, repeatedly returns to 0 between sets and randomly throughout a workout. Extremely frustrating.

Jim, i believe your are experiencing either a loose HRM (movement is causing reading issue), low battery( is causing drop out of heart rate values) or the HRM device (internal sensor wire connections are damaged causing sporadic values). The strength app only reads the sensor value and reports the value. So if the values are dropping to zero then the app will report 0.

Great app. It keeps track of the number of reps and sets.Allow you to edit the reps and enter the weight lifted during the set. Will provide you with the toal weight lifted. Help you have a record of your workout.

Hola, Muy buena opinión sobre la app. Solo tengo una cuestión......al final del entreno calorías sale 330 por ejmploe pero hay un apartado de calorías ajustadas que marca 500....cuales serian las calorías reales gastadas durante el wod?? Gracias

The app is good for tracking heartrate durung exercises. Unfortunately it always crashes when is reconnect via Bluetooth with my mobile after the training. It works fine when I turn off Bluetooth on my mobile before the training, save and close app after training and turn on Bluetooth and sync my fenix then. Otherwise all training metrics are gone:-/

I like the way this app seems to trace calories better, but I cannot seem to record reps and weight. With the regular Strength-app on my Fenix 6 I can add the number of reps I made and the weight I lifted, after pressing 'Lap'. It then goes into 'resttime' until I press Lap again for the next set. This app doesn't seem to provide that? I thought the idea was that doing a 80kg squat 'burns' more than a 50kg squat. Am I wrong? And is it true this app doesn't let you add reps/weight after each set and also doesn't switch between rest and work (I know it has a countdown, but when your done the 'worktime' according to Connect is 0:00:00).

Hi Matthew, thanks for reviewing. I get this question often, where is the lap information. Unfortunately, Garmin removed the lap information from Garmin Connect Mobile app, and custom the set information is, at this time not available to CIQ, once added to the CIQ, I will add that function.

I just downloaded it recently and have been using it last few workouts. I like the app as the older garmin version only have "other" option to do any workouts other than running or bike.. Question - How do I get the HR and calories? Its always showing as zero during my workout.

This app is fantastic man, I really enjoy using it better than the cardio app for my CrossFit WODs. Only thing is, I can't view the separate rounds so I can see time each individual round took me. Is there any way I can see that on the app? Otherwise...I love it!

Unfortunately, Garmin removed the lap information from Garmin Connect Mobile app, however the lap information is saved and can be viewed at Http://connect.garmin.com. Contact Garmin to have the lap/set information to be restored in Garmin Connect Mobile App.
