The most recent update appears to have the rain alerts for premium usponsers working as advertised, and I'm really not seeing a noticeable increase in battery usage. This widget is very helpful in planning outdoor activities and the premium version is highly recommended. I'll also add that the developer is available and responsive to questions or issues...another plus.

Have no control over the location? I have to enter the location in a text field. How do I know if it works and if the correct city is recognized? There are several cities in the world with the same name. Somehow illogical and not comprehensible. The rain detection seems to be random. The graphic is not interpretable.

Hi Maxxe, if things are unclear, feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can easily reach me via the Contact Developer form. I'll try to answer your questions here, but it might be easier to support you via the way described earlier. Location works on GPS by default, but as an option, you can enter the locations you want like you would search for it via Google Maps. If there would be a New York in the UK, you would enter the location like this: 'New York, UK'. You can even enter addresses or places of interest. If you then select your location on your watch, you'll see the location name at the bottom. It should be quite straight forward. Rain data is derived from Apple Weather (formerly DarkSky). Forecasts are forecasts and not always 100% accurate. That's how weather prediction works I'm afraid. It's a great indicator, that's how it should be used. Bij problemen, neem contact op met de ontwikkelaar. En ondersteuning bied Wim dan ook. Alleen dat maakt het al zinvol om de premium functies aan te schaffen. Als suggestie nogmaals de leesbaarheid van plaatsnamen. De grijze kleur valt weg in de schittering van het daglicht. Ofwel, een andere kleur (of keuze daarvoor) zou erg helpen. Bedankt voor je hulp Wim!

Just the rain app I wanted! I do a lot of outdoor activities, so am always checking the radar on my phone as normal weather apps don't give you precisely when the heavens are going to open... This app is simple and does the job! You actually get some settings within the watch, and can save a few locations too which could be handy for me later... Uses GPS to find your location, showing your town with a graph... Depending when you want to be alerted with rain, this function is working well, have mine set to one hour, and it has been really spot on! I've bought the full version for little money just as a thank you and it's worth it... Cheers ;) Recommended *******

Hey guyssss I’ve been using this widget for a while because I’m constantly flying and moving a lot and the rain indicator is important to me. I decided to buy the full version, and I had some challenges. But the support and responsiveness of the developer was excellent. And he was in touch with me all the time up to solve my problem. Really useful app with accurate data. Use it all the time thanks. One small request. Is it possible to allow a swipe to close for watches with touch screen so it works the same as the built in widgets?

Een zeer veel gebruikte widget op dit moment. De herfst komt en dus nog meer gebruik. De plaatsnaam na Gps locatie update zou wat meer leesbaar mogen zijn. Ander kleur dan grijs of eventueel instelbaar naar eigen voorkeur?

Used this for quite some time now. Excellent widget, works well and nice and simple. To make it even better though it would be good to change the period (and possibly the location) with just a tap of the screen, rather than going into the settings menu?
