Use this app to constantly display the temperature on your watch, without the usual 2 minute timeout of widgets. And if you have a Garmin Tempe external sensor the temperature from the Tempe will be displayed.</p><p>This app is especially useful on the Garmin Descent devices when you are swimming but don't want the auto-dive functionality to start.</p><p>

I try to use it as a estimate body temperature by putting my watch under my armpit. It take about 10 minute (for fenix 5) to get a good result. could be useful a sort of calibration

Does just one thing very well. Obviously without a Garmin Tempe there’s little use for it, unless you leave the watch away, far from the skin, for at least 20’.

Hi, I am using Fenix 3 HR, the temperature is now shown, I had waited for more than 15 minutes and so. Any problem with the compatibility?

Unfortunately, due to limitations from Garmin, on older devices such as the F3HR you must have a Tempe device in order to see the temperature displayed.

New owner of a Fenix 5, and this is visually the best laid out application so far, the analogue and digital display combination is great, Still can't work out how to control how/where the tempe data is reported instead of internal.

My Venu seems to crash on this app Why display the internal temp ? What's the use of that ?

Hi there. If you don't have a Tempe external temperature sensor then the internal temperature reported by the watch device is the only temperature that the app/widget has access to. Sorry, but it's a limitation of the device hardware.

Hi there. The temperature on the widget is the temperature reported by the sensor within the watch, which is affected by things like body temperature.

Great to use on the Mk1 Descent to prevent it from entering dive mode when swimming.
