Great effort. On my 255 it works. The start button has no effect and I can only scroll forwards in time. Hold “up” to get to settings. In settings in the watch I had to click refresh location. It indicated gps was working but it wasn’t. I had to tell my watch I was about to do an activity and then switch back to tides to refresh location. That worked. The tide location chose a location I don’t want but I suppose it’s ok to be working 15minutes off the tides although the height is off. I think I might be able to tell it a GPS location nearer a place I want and that would work, not sure. I can’t get it to show MLLW, instead it shows +4.11 and -4.5 for instance, when most rides charts would show +7.11 -1.5 for instance. Changing the setting didn’t seem to work. Tide numbers don’t show up on widget without opening app. All in all it works well for a small free project.

Have used it all Spring and Summer for our beach fishing trips. Tide information is always correct. Works great on 5X+.

Will give this a 5 star review if development for the instinct 2 solar could be improved. Whilst it's compatible in that it loads, the display is not compatible with the instinct 2. There is a window on the watch and the whole display is filling the whole screen. If it could be made to fit the screen properly like the glances of stock garmin widgets / apps that would be a significant and worthy issue Update. Until such time this is useless uselesson the watch

I was hoping for a tide chart app to keep this info at my fingertips while on a beach vacation. This app fits the bill perfectly! (Tip: Expand the description in Garmin IQ for simple steps to get the API key for one time setup. Fast and easy)

Simple to use, easy to set up (follow the API steps correctly), get GPS fix with an activity app then open the widget. Everything I need to know about tides and times. Compliments Surf Apps with wind, waves and sea temperature. Keep the excellent development going :)

Works a treat (even if set up wasn't the easiest, took a while for it all to link; developer instructions are spot on, its still one long key and it can only be used once) Cheers!

AK Tide doesn’t work on my Garmin Fenix 7X Solar. Only “Err-200” is shown on my watch.

Once I figured out the initial setup using the API key from storm glass it worked beautifully.

Not bad, gives accurate info for the upcoming 24 hours. Wish you could see upcoming days. Set up took a bit of work to get API key.

Good app for quick display of local tides. A little tricky to install due to extra long API key. Developer could provide better step by step install instructions.

Its simple at works. Not sure how much info is cached on the watch for e.g. offline viewing, but sure beats having to unlock my phone, go to browser, search for local tides, etc. Usage from StormWater is a paid service, so shoutout for Dev for giving this service for free.

This is a really good tool! Thanks. Had some issues installing it, but I did not catch the entire API key. When that was in place it worked like a charm.
