Excellent app. Most valuable Nav Kit I have and always use. Low power, accurate and matches directly with OS mapping, compass and a superb back up in bad weather. Thanks!
Thank you for your review. Glad it works for you. Sounds like you use it like I do.
Used this on previous Fenix model and delighted it is now available for my Fenix 7s. I have integrated it into my Walk and Hike activities positioned after the map, so if I need to refer to an Ordnance Survey map I have my grid reference to hand. For UK use, highly recommended (now I need a Swiss one!).
Thanks for your kind review. I'm very happy it works well for you on the fēnix 7S. If you'd like to take the idea of a Swiss equivalent further please contact me directly.
Forerunner 645 Music. Found it. Downloaded it. Walked outside and bingo a OS 8 digit grid reference. Exactly what I wanted. Brilliant. Good supplement to my OS 1:25000 maps.
Thanks for your review. Glad it works well for you.
What a great data field. The reason I installed this rather than the Widget on my GPSMAP 66s is that I wanted to see lat/long and OS Grid in large type on one page. So I created an extra Trip Computer page with two large data fields, the first displays lat/long (which the 66s can do natively) and the other uses this data field to display OS Grid. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind review.
I'm sure the Widget version could be modified without too much difficulty so it optionally displays latitude & longitude as well as grid reference. Please contact me directly if you'd be interested.
Struggling with getting it downloaded onto my tactix Charlie. I’m sure it’s good once it’s used with a compatible device
I'm sorry you're having problems with my app. If you contact me directly with some more details I'll see if I can help. Don't forget it's a data field and after downloading it you'll need to customize the data screens of your chosen activity to add in the new data field.
Thank you to Simon for updating and improving this data field in response to my feedback. It works brilliantly giving up to a ten figure grid reference which is accurate to 1 metre. This makes navigation in the hills so much easier (although I never rely on electronic devices entirely and ALWAYS use a map)
Thanks Stephen, I'm glad you like it!
