Switched from Apple Music to Spotify just to get my music and podcasts playing on my 6X Pro. Unfortunately the sync of podcasts doesn‘t work at all...fails every time! I use a work around with a playlist and occasionally can get a episode on my watch going. However, please fix it already!!! BTW, when you are working on the app, maybe consider to allow for fast forward while playing podcasts. Not just 15 secs per click. Also please introduce a fast scrolling function while adding podcasts or even a sort function!
Awful. Purchased the watch and took out premium spotify specifically for this and it doesn't work at all. If it did work it seems you have to have a WiFi connection and to download music to play anything!?! Why can't music be played and transferred via the phone app?! Terrible app.
Used to work for a few months when I bought my Fenix 6. Then it stopped and hasn't been working for a year now. Either sync fails or just hangs on "0% Complete"

I have a vivoactive 4 that i got 2 days ago. Problem with synking playlist to my watch, it stops synk after some % and when i retry to synk agin it get stuck on synking or cant find wi-fi connection or wrong password even. I have reinstall Spotify a fee times and reconnect wi-fi and i still have the same problem.
Loved it the last few months but it has stopped working this week, please patch this

Not syncing anything properly any more or recognises any changes in my playlists on Spotify so I can’t download anything new!
Bought this watch specifically for Spotify. It’s worked fine for the last 2 months up until last week. I wasn’t even able to redownload it except through Garmin Express, and it still will not work. Unacceptable from Garmin and Spotify
Spotify is not currently displaying on my Vivoactive 4S. Please fix this.
Spotify suddenly stopped working today. Reinstalling didn’t fix the problem. The software on the watch is locked, you have no access and you can’t push play button.

Stops connecting all of a sudden. Hopefully Garmin or Spotify fix this.
Since I bought the Fenix 5X Plus it's just impossible connect with the fucking music,very expensive watch and too bad Wi-Fi connection
For everyone having issues, I re-installed using Garmin Express and it is working as expected. Downloaded content syncing as normal. I would suggest trying this route

Doesn’t work how it must to be on fenix 5s plus. You may be sure: The music will be gone when you launch it with tracking your activity, and restart doesn’t fix it. Terrible.

Seriously this is extremely poor customer service! Hundreds/thousands of reviews over months, stating that the music app on the Garmin is not functional! Like many other users I purchased the most expensive watch on the market (the Fenix 6) for this purpose to find it doesn’t work! and no notifications from Garmin. I’ve spent hours trying to get it to work. How disappointing!
Waste of time & money.
Get a sunto or Apple Watch. (Or anything else)
Garmin have dropped the ball and have no intention in picking it up again.
