This works well to record my ride but needs a battery saver feature as it consumes far too much in comparison to other activity modes like running or cycling. Also this app stops you being able to switch to view other screens on your watch so I can't check for time of day etc. It's a shame that when my Gamin Connect activity syncs to Strava it does not retain activity type as Horse riding...and becomes Other.

Use this app every time I go riding. Really helps to make the decision on which fork to take on the trail when on a time limit. Just remember to start when doing a final tack check. Once on the horse or under trees you’ll almost never get a gps connection.

Hey, just installed the app on fenix 6s, going to use it soon. It looks good with the data it present and the design. Is it possible to have editable settings? When I stop the activity it play a long musical sound, I would love to remove that :)

Provides great graphs and information about the ride including speed, elevation and heart rate. And it’s fun to track distance on long trail rides. The only thing I’m not sure about is that I think movement of the horse is still added to my daily step count which kinda feels like I’m cheating.

Counts my horses steps in my daily count. Would like an option to see distance traveled and speed. Honestly don't care about energy, Calories or train effect? HR would be ok but I care more about knowing how much found I've covered while riding and what rate.

Easy to use, but not that usefull for what I need it for. It would be great if you could choose between "horsemanship" (my steps count for my daily statistics) and horseback riding (without the steps in the statistics). Thus it falsifies my daily needs, that's a pity, because in this manner I can't use it.

Simple and nice. But why doesn't it count steps? Horse's steps are easy detectable by plain Run profile. Knowing cadence, stride length and, ultimately, real time pace detection would be great as well. May be in future we can even have calories spent (by horse)...
