I can't seem to get anything other than time clocked on our trail rides. Really wanted distance and a map of our ride.

I've been trying to figure out the best way to log rides since switching to Garmin. This app definitely does the trick! The only (huge) downside is that because it logs as horseback riding, Strava doesn't import the activity. I'd urge you to switch to hike for activity type so that Strava will support the activities as well. The search continues... Thanks!

I have used this app for YEARS on several garmin watches and it is always A+. I love seeing my stats and distance!

Love this app!!! It was perfect for my horse trekking adventure in New Zealand. I was able to visualize my route and the terrain. I also found it helpful while trail riding with friends.

This works well to record my ride but needs a battery saver feature as it consumes far too much in comparison to other activity modes like running or cycling. Also this app stops you being able to switch to view other screens on your watch so I can't check for time of day etc. It's a shame that when my Gamin Connect activity syncs to Strava it does not retain activity type as Horse riding...and becomes Other.
