App "updated" but still can't add it literally anywhere on an Edge 540/840 C'mon Garmin - do better (And yes this is a Garmin app using Accuweather data)

Nice app, when it works... At home all day and the location changes to about 4 completely different locations in the UK, from London to Scotland. Please sort this out, the app is useful when works. Tried reinstalling many times, location better with WiFi off but I need wifi on... Shame, used to be excellent.

Used this on my Forerunner 920xt back in the day and nice to see it still works on my new Instinct 2X. Really handy widget and remarkably reliable indicator of whether it will indeed rain, at least in the UK.

To fix the location Problem, uninstall the App, Reinstall but didnt open the App on your watch, then Set your Phone on flightmode, Start the App wait for no Signal notification, close the App on your watch and deactived flightmode. Start the App and wait for Connection, right location will be showed up. Its important to use the LTE / 5G without WiFi ! It seems like the watch gathering the location from the actual connected Server. .

Like many others have commented, please make this be able to be added as widgets and able to see at the glance for edge 840. I have the same issues regarding having this app installed in connected IQ store but it's not showing as one of the widgets that I can add to the glance page.

The app gives info for a wrong location. Probably taking it from the watches/connect app ip address, which sometimes can vary from real location.

Loved this on my 830. Just bought a 840, downloaded this but can't add it as a widget on the device. When I go to connect IQ on the device I can see it and it works, just can't add it to the widget screen

I loved this widget on the Garmin Edge 1030. I installed it on the Garmin Edge 1040 and it shows up as an app and not a widget. It won't let me add this to the widget loop. Please consider making this a widget.

Seems to work well for the location it keeps defaulting to. Unfortunately that is a three hour drive from my location. I have uninstalled it a few times with no luck. I use AccuWeather app on my phone, shame that don't talk.

Taking location from device ip, rather than gps. Proved by using a vpn to worldhop. Inability to use gps location, even of the phone, to provide accurate weather renders this app near useless.

If I could give less stars I would...am in UK.states where I am in title.Every other app/widget shows rain and has done for hours and predicting it for next few hours too.Oddly enough its been raining hard..yet this widget shows no rain what so ever!!! Not even a prediction of rain either..Useless waste of space...uninstalling...

Brilliant little widget when it gets your location right. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, it's off by hundreds of kilometres. The "reset current position" option doesn't fix things and it makes the widget unusable.
