#1 maps and routes app for Garmin Venu, Vivoactive, Fenix or Forerunner GPS watch, and Garmin's "Best Wearable Smart App" award winner!
• Turns your Garmin watch into a powerful navigator!
• Create a route on your phone or laptop, send it wirelessly to your watch - then leave your phone behind as dwMap runs without a data connection
• View and follow route maps imported directly from Strava, Ride with GPS, Google Maps, Garmin Connect, GPX files and more

dwMap lets you download and follow route maps on any Connect IQ watch including Venu, Vivoactive, Fenix and Forerunner. Create a route in seconds on https://dynamic.watch/ (https://is.gd/dywtch) and your watch will automatically download it next time you start the dwMap app. Or import your existing routes from a plethora of popular websites, or from GPX/TCX/KML/FIT files.

dwMap shows your route map at 7 different zoom levels, your current position and direction, and a breadcrumbs trail. The app also records your activity using the watch's built-in activity recorder, including automatic sync'ing with Garmin Connect (and then on to Strava, etc), and shows you three pages of data fields, such as speed, distance and HR. The recorder includes auto-pause and auto-lap features.

Your watch only needs an internet connection (through your phone or tablet) if you want to download a new route. Otherwise it is self-contained and designed for use offline, outside of cellular service. Our free website, including its route creator, is mobile-enabled so you can create, edit and choose routes directly on your phone.

All features described above are available FOR FREE. A dynamicWatch Premium subscription enables • navigation turn prompts • off-route warnings • customizable data fields including realtime weather and elevation profile (most watches) • background basemaps (most watches) • workout and lap alerts • waypoints/geocaching • Ordnance Survey, IGN, SwissTopo and other map types.
One Premium subscription enables the optional advanced features of ALL of our Connect IQ apps (dwMap, routeCourse, mapField, Rain & Wind) and the advanced route planning and management features of our website. Premium is just US$9.99/year or a one-time payment of $29.99. See https://is.gd/dwpremium

If you have a Garmin Edge cycling GPS or Fenix 5/6/7/8 watch with maps already installed, you can combine the simple mobile-friendly route creation and fast and easy downloads from dynamicWatch with the built-in map features, using our routeCourse app https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/b7efc9ca-5446-4e1c-bc53-474e97f376ac
