I've used their sleep app for many years now, and finally the Garmin integration works without a hitch. On my forerunner 955, no massive battery drain, no disconnects, all sensors (heart rate, HRV, pulse ox, accelerometer, respiration (I think)) work. Do be sure to disable battery optimizations, my phone would disconnect the app after a couple of hours prior to disabling that.

Brilliant app, I've been using the Android app since before I had a Pebble, and now through multiple Garmins. However... I've inadvertently hit the "Always launch Sleep" option on my watch, and now can't find where to undo the setting meaning the phone app starts before I want it to and turns the lights off in the house. D'oh! Please help!

I love it, with one exception. If the app has the option to auto start tracking, I think the Garmin add-on should start without asking me on the watch if I want to start the app or not

I'm also experiencing 50% battery drain when using this. I believe this is due to the SPO2 tracking, which is known to drain the battery. Uninstalling until SPO2 tracking can be disabled.

Was working for several days but afterwards the app can no longer connect to the phone. It will stay at "connecting to phone..." Today the app on the watch froze, will not let me pause or turn off.

Works great, but I wish it didn't eat half of my Venu 2 battery. I don't know why this program uses so much battery but I use it anyway.

Aplikace mi fungovala, spojila bez potíží, noční monitoring probíhal. Ovšem za cenu 33% baterie Garmin Vivoactive 4 z 95% na 62 po cca 6,5 hodinách spánku.

Very great, o2 , hr, hrv all recorded through the night and lines up with other parts of the graphs. Con I have to start the app from my watch because from the app on phone sometimes it doesn't connect to watch Venu sq Keep up the great work!

I've used SAA for years on and off. Easily the best sleep tracking app around and functionality really fits well with what garmin already offers. Unfortunately the long standing issue of battery drain is still there. One night sleep costs me 4-6 days battery life. Not worth it for me having bought the watch partly for the battery life. May well be worth it for others.

I give it 4 stars. Does it kill your battery life? Yes, yes it does. But its partly because SAA can't take advantage of some Garmin optimization as a 3rd party developer. Same thing with 3rd party watchfaces. But the functionality to F6S was easy to set up and worked right out of the box - I just know that I need to charge in the morning if im using sleep tracking also using the garmin.

I'm uninstalling this app after having given it a second go after a 2 year break. The app drains 50%+ of the battery on my Vivoactive 4s and it's not clear how to stop tracking sleep (managed one night after a lot of tries, next night had to restart the app to stop tracking).

Well, the app works in general, but as many other reviews stated: at what cost?! One major point for me to buy an Instinct 2 was the good battery life. But that is totally ruined when using this app, as it drains 4+ days of battery during a single night when not even using all features like heart rate or such. That issue is known for nearly a year now and the only updates were to add new watch models... I also want to question how much real testing was done, as the UI clearly is not designed for the Instinct 2. You cannot read the shown time completely as the circular cut-out blocks it partly. Another point I want to mention is that the vibration on the watch during alarm might be nice for some, but I prefer only the alarm on my phone. Setting that in Sleep as Android (vibration for watch set to off) however does not do anything. The watch still vibrates during the alarm. Would be really nice to not force that on the user but make it actually configurable.

Works good now on my venu 2+. Smart alarm is a game changer! Wake up early with more energy! Any more improvements are welcome but this is usable. Thanks ao much!

Despite the claim it has been fixed, same issue as other users persists: App locks upon launch: if you like the screenshot, this might be for you cuz it is all you'll be seeing Perhaps alarm function would work with the app working, but strongly doubt it given the performance so far.

This works in that it does a much better job of tracking sleep than the default Garmin app. However, it's battery use and the fact you can't stop it without using 'force stop' or restarting the watch are deal breakers. Instead of constantly communicating with the phone, this app needs a design that allows it to store data on the watch and upload in the morning, or at intervals. It should not lock the watch while running. whole
