The maps are 100% free. However, if you would like to use the weather radar feature, a small, currently one-time fee of about $2.50 is required. Before buying, please check the image on this page to see if weather radar is available in your location. To buy radar, on your watch, simply open the menu (top right button on most devices), navigate to the weather radar button, and turn it on. Then follow the on-screen instructions to pay via KPay. Another way to check radar coverage in your location is to visit https://www.rainviewer.com/coverage.html</p>

(BETA)</p><p>4.5.0:</p><p>- This update allows non-touchscreen devices to browse the maps! When you leave the current map viewing area, you have to zoom in/out in order to re-request the map. </p>

Awsome to be able to zoom in anywhere on the map using my Fenix 6x Sapphire, love the new GPS track,havnt tried the pin function yet... Radar is awesome too, really enjoying this!

Stahl jsem, zaplatil jsem, ale mám jen prázdnou mapu bez srážek. Zapnul jsem v nastavení radar i animace, ale nic to nedělá.

Well, I commented before, and the developer responded quickly, so that was nice. :~) New problem: launching the app crashes the ENTIRE watch on Vivoactive 3 when trying to open it.

Hey there! Sometimes GPS takes a while to load. I would suggest going outside when the GPS is loading, that way it doesn’t take quite so long to access GPS. Thanks!!

Clever app but limited use if non touchscreen, can't understand why it can't be adapted for these devices as you can scroll etc courses on navigation breadcrumb screens?

Hi Mark, thanks for the review. Maps4Garmin doesn’t use Garmin’s default maps and controls, so I had to build the browsable map feature myself. However, I got it done, and the browsable maps are now available on non-touchscreen devices in Maps4Garmin version 4.5.0. I hope you like it!

I was satisfied at first, but now when I zoom in on Vivoactive 3, I just get the Garmin IQ Error (IQ!) It would be great if I could download maps too.

Hi, I just uploaded an update that should fix your bug. Please update to version 4.3.2. Also, I agree that offline maps would be great, but I'm still working out how to make them possible. Thanks for using this app!

Love idea of using osm, and weather. However, currently the app is not useful on non-touch watches (ie fenix). Would love to see this on the gpsmap 66st.
