Unable to get sound and vibration to work on a Forerunner 55. Sound and vibration work otherwise with the watch. I've attempted to change the "default" settings of None to vibration and sound on all beats by hitting the start/stop button once the option is in the middle but it doesn't seem to stick. - thank you. If the sound and vibration options start working, I'll update my star rating. I removed one star for each fault.

Can't get the sound to work on my Forerunner 55, but I'm new to the watch so could just be me. Vibration works fine

The most useful app on my Venu 2 Plus. I do not need the sound when playing my violin, but my watch does not play the sound anyway, so there must be a bug in the app. Anyway thanks a lot!

The Metronome app sits in activities under walk, run etc. The app buzzes on the first beat of every bar, and flashes on the screen for other beats. The display shows big numerical digits for scroll down setting. It also displays the Italian tempo words e.g. allegro. It’s OK.

Works great on my Forerunner 945 LTE. What I am missing is a built-in timer/stop watch (more important than the heart rate display), because then it can be used in the gym ("Kieser Training") where you need to exercise in 4-2-4-2 seconds rhythm (1 vibration each 3 seconds matches perfectly for that) for 90-120 seconds until the muscles are exhausted. So I need a timer to know what time has passed after my muscles are exhausted.

This app requires instructions, and their aren't any. The UI leads one to believe that there are buttons one can tap to control the BPM, but there are not. Talking the screen opens a menu, which has a BPM entry, but the only values it can be given are 0, 1, 2, and 4. It also doesn't appear to do anything at all. I eventually figured point that one had to tao and good party of the screen to adjust the BPM. This is not at all intuitive from the UI, though.

Simple, but does the job. The BPM Up/Down arrows are way too small on a Vivoactive 3, clicking them brings you in the menu. However, a good workaround is that a long press on the top half of the watch will increase tempo, and the bottom half lowers it. My suggestion is to change the behavior so that a short press adjusts BPM, and a long press opens the menu.

Works really well but it could look better. I also think that you should add a tap tempo button.

Nice musician (not runner) metronome. On Forerunner 645 the up and down buttons worked differently. The down worked as one would expect (short press, one beat down, long press more beats down and faster). The up button instead will go more beats and faster with a short press, whereas with the long press goes into the same menu where the start/stop button goes. That looks like a bug and not intuitive to use. Moreover the lap button stops the activity, which is useless. If possible I would suggest lap button resetting to first beat instead. Last, on the Forerunner 645 the sound and vibration are too weak, at least while playing the piano. A watch, not an app problem, but severally reduce the usefulness...

Where is it? Downloaded app for a Garmin Venu SQ, but is nowhere to be found. Zero instructions & zero online info on how to use … Delete!

Great metronome! Inputting the tempo in the BPM page requires you to enter the hundreds, tens, and ones value one at a time (after pressing green check) for a 3 digit numerical tempo. Once this is figured out on your own watch it's smooth sailing.

Great app! Do you think you could add tap tempo to it?? The Descent series watches can be tapped during dive activities to change screens, I assume this is done via input from the accelerometer. It would be great if we could tap the watch 2-3 times in rhythm to get our desired tempo

I've just signup to be able to praise this app, has the current rating does not reflect it's quality. It's a bit hard to get how to find it and to put it to work, the description could be augmented to help with that. But overall it delivers what it promises and it is pretty easy to use.

like it works good. i had to figure out the 3 digit setting, could not find instruction. three little circles on top of beat setting , you set the hundred#, then the tens#, then the one units# . diagrams would help. I have Vivoactive 3, the vibration on my watch is a little weak.
