The Data Field UTM100 displays the current UTM/MGRS location using largest possible fonts. Only the 'essential' digits are displayed.</p><p></p><p>UTM100 is designed to be included in GPS enabled activities. A topo map including UTM or MGRS reference grid should be available.</p><p></p><p>EXAMPLE</p><p></p><p>If UTM100 displays "E58.51 N79.19" it means that your present location is 58.51km east and 79.19km north of the origin of the current 100km X 100km UTM square. You can identify your location on the map using simple interpolation in the UTM grid as illustrated in the figure below. The grid resolution on the map is typical 1km x 1km and each grid line is marked with the corresponding UTM location.</p>
