The SkiTour App Professional shows you key parameters like top speed, altitude, distance, etc. with high sensitivity GPS. As special feature an automatic phase detection is implemented in order to provide you separate values when going up or when driving down the hill. Höhenmeter werden zeitweise im Garmin Connect nicht angezeigt obwohl ein Höhenprofil aufgenommen wurde. Das Höhenprofil ist auf fehlerhaften Niveau, da der Beginn und das Ende teilweise von -200m bis +800m verschoben sind. z.B Sart bei 1700m anstelle 900m und Ende bei 2800m anstelle 2000m. Der Verlauf des Höhenprofils passt, jedoch wird auch die aktuell Seehöhe falsch angezeigt.

Hallo, bei Skitour App wird die gewonnen Höhe fehlerhaft dargestellt. Die Anstiegshöhe wird als Abstieg dargestellt und es gibt keine Trennung zwischen Anstieg und Abstieg, die Höhen werden einfach summiert. Beim Hochladen auf Strava wird als Aktivität Skialpin und nicht Skitour angegeben!

After some debugging I found out that a problem might occur if the app settings are wrong. For example if you add floating point numbers where integers are expected. This is a Garmin problem as they are fully responsible for installation, de-installation and app settings. As work-around, please connect your watch via USB and properly configure the app settings via Garmin Express software. Then it should work. I will open a bug ticket for Garmin to avoid this problem in future.

The app automatically detects the up and run phases and provides seperate data fields for it. Additionally the splitted values are shown afterwards in Garmin Connect. If you have further specific questions, please write me a mail to [email protected]

Grundsätzlich eine super App für Ski-Touren. Leider werden die Connect IQ Datenfelder (spezifische Datenfelder vom App) nur in der mobilen Version von Garmin Connect angezeigt nicht aber in der Desktop Version. Dort stehen nur „0“ drinnen!
