Unfortunately the widget just shows the value it gets from the watch sensor. If you don't calibrate it the display won't be correct. I have no control over the values shown.

Thanks for your review. I agree the accuracy is a bit questionable. Unfortunately that's down to the watch not the widget - which has no control over the altitude it's given.

Thanks for your review. I'm glad it works for you! If your watch altimeter works and is properly calibrated, this will show the correct elevation, as seen by the watch.

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately "it" doesn't think you're below sea level, your watch thinks you're below sea level. Calibrate the watch and the widget display will be correct. If you think there's a more fundamental issue please contact me directly.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, as I say in the description, the widget simply displays what it receives from the device. If the altitude displayed is wrong it's because your watch is wrong.

Thanks for your review. If you have a request it's always best to contact the developer directly. Widgets time out and as such are not meant for the on-going long term display of information.This widget is simply used to show the current value of a sensor so I implemented it as a snapshot with no further complications.

Thanks. I'm glad it works for you. Also, I apologise if you you think I'm rude (you'll see that's not always the case!). But I get fed up with people being rude about the app, i.e. me, when in reality the app works as it should but the issue is with the watch. 1) Read the description. 2) Contact me directly - you'll always get a positive response.

I am very sorry you don't work. I am also sorry you don't know how to use your watch, perhaps you should have asked for help. The widget does work, it displays what the watch tells it, good or bad.

1. You should try contacting the developer for help before leaving a poor review. 2. Calibration isn't impossible. It's a function of the watch, not the app. I recalibrate mine frequently. If yours doesn't allow it, blame it not me.

Thanks for your understanding review. I recognise the limitations of my widget with non-barometric devices. I decided it wasn't up to me to not make the app for those watches, it was up to the user to understand their watch and make an informed decision as to whether the app was for them or not.

I'm sorry you can't get my app to work. It just shows what the watch gives it. If your device isn't calibrated you won't get good results. The problem is with the device not the app. If you use your watch properly the widget works well. If you think the issue really is the app why not ask for help before leaving a poor review?

I'm sorry you couldn't get my app to work on your watch. Why not contact me for assistance before leaving a poor review? In what way did it not work? If it really doesn't work I want to know more so I can fix it. The Forerunner 245 doesn't have a barometric altimeter. Did you make sure you had a good 3D GPS fix before using the widget? The app just reports what it gets from the watch.
