Race Screen is a data field that displays the most relevant information for running a race or training. It also corrects the difference between the GPS-measured distance and the actual race course distance: pressing the lap button when passing a course marker rounds the distance it displays and adjusts the average pace accordingly. If you set a race distance, it predicts your finish time.

Not working on the new Garmin Fénix 7x. If Garmin could fix it that'd be great. Data doesn't show properly on the screen and it just doesn't work.

Absolutely bloomin' brilliant, especially for marathons in cities where GPS might be "wobbly". The only things that could be improved are a) a better input screen for the distance / time configuration (why do we have to rely on seconds and metres?) and b) perhaps a simplified screen with less on it to make it easier to glance at mid-race. I am recommending this to anyone who will listen!

Fantastic all-in-one running data-screen that is my go-to for all my runs! Works great on my Forerunner 920xt, Fenix 3HR, Fenix 6X

Worked really nicely for my marathon. I tested it once in my shake-out run, and had no problems with it on race day (I only forgot to manually hit my split once, and the app recognizes that you went 2 miles, not 1). It took me a few minutes to figure out that I need to configure race distance (in meters) from the connectIQ app on my phone.

Really great app! The only thing missing for me is a possibility to add color coding of the power values (like for HR and cadence).

Helped me predict my 21k race and managed to get a personal best. If I had to get picky, I wish it had an option to customize the background color.

had the 20k run with it, did the job great and as expected, used also the lap button to synchronize with the km marks. It gave always a very good estimation of finish time.

Worked perfectly for my race. Stryd power worked too, and I came in at exactly my target time. Watch was Fenix 5s plus. Recommended!

Love this app. Easy to install and change the settings and the fact you can manually round the lap time is a must for a marathon if you're aiming for a specific time.

I've been using this for several years as my default run screen. During marathons, it's given me a reason to push the pace at the end to PR as it showed my predicted time within seconds of official time (manual laps)! Glad to see it now on my 945 LTE! I like how it changes backgrounds when I'm on pace (dark/light). I can focus on the race and know with only a glance if I need to adjust faster or if I can back off a bit and still be ok. I don't train by power, but it gives me all the data to translate what race pace means roughly in power terms. Very satisfied with this app!

This app/field is simply put AMAZING! I especially love the detail that one can choose the window for calculating current pace, and that there is a “waiting” mode with the TOD before hitting Start. Great work!

The fields are organized in a meaningful way, i.e., the top half of the screen is the present data; the bottom half is the information for the whole race, up to the present. The anticipated finished time has large characters and therefore easy to see and the average pace is located right below it. When pushing hard in a race you want to see the data to be as easy as possible to view. This app definitely does that. The app is great!
