5 stars to Sam for the details on how to use it!!! I could not figure out how to get it working. I will update once I start using it but for now just glad to figure out how to get it working on my Garmin Instinct 2S.

Love it but l don't need the 10s warning and would love a halfway alert (beep) so l don't have to look at the watch. It'd be great if these were optional.

Great idea to have this downloaded to my watch. Once I figured out how to load it up, its brilliant! Sometimes I don't know if I've missed the 'buzz' so is there a way to display if I'm in 'jog' mode or 'walk' mode?

Works really well. I struggled to work out how to load it as a few others have so here are very simple instructions for a vivoactive 4: Press bottom button - settings - activities /apps - Scroll to the bottom - add more - copy activity - run- Select name - data screens - select the screen you want the details to be on Edit data fields - tap the field you want the programme to appear in - connectiq fields - couch to 5k :)

App has been working perfectly and I love that you can amend the week/workout you are on as a lot of these apps use calendar entries. One thing I cannot figure out is how/when the Week and Day show on the screen? On my 4s the run starts and the first thing that shows in the data field is the 5min walk timer? So I need to check the settings on my phone to see what week/day I am on.

The week and day numbers are shown before you start the activity (while your watch is obtaining GPS lock). The display cycles through showing the week/day numbers then the jog and walk times for that session. If you want to see which session you are set to do next, select your c25k activity, but do not press start, then wait for the display to cycle through the information.

Was a good tool for training but the new version isn't working on my watch - can't see it to add it?

Love this data field, but it seems that the most recent update might be buggy. I lost access to the settings menu on the phone and the activity on my watch is essentially just a plain running activity now.

Loving this app! It took me a while to figure out how to see it on my watch but now that's done, it works perfectly. I love how the watch buzzes when it's time to change from jog to walk and I'm really happy with my progress.

This data set works perfectly, once I figured out how to add it to my run profile on my device! Thank you for creating it. It seems all the negative reviews are people who are unable to figure it out and are too lazy to look up instructions and/or don't understand this is a dataset, not an app.

Took a minute to work out how to set up. Works well especially with being able to play my Spotify playlist at the same time.

I haven't used it yet. However I just spent ages trying to work out how to use it, and I think that is because it is made be a developer and not a standard user. Therefore I am hoping that someone will see this as some instructions on how to use it, as long as it works I can see that this is exactly what I am looking for. I have a vivo active three, so I assume things will look differently, so I am trying to be as clear as possible so that someone could work it out for themselves if they have a difficult device. But essentially on your watch where you choose which activity you are about to do, you have to create a new activity (and you do this through the option of scrolling through all the activites using your watch) Then you have to edit this activity by setting up a different screen view (which is the info your watch shows you when you are doing your activity) First step - Download the app Second Step - Set up a new activity; On your watch, where you usually choose your favourite activity, scroll to and then choose the option to view all activities. (On vivo 3 this is the four circles in a aquare under your favourites). Scroll to the bottom of this and click the plus button. Scroll to the bottom of these choices and click "create". Click on copy "run". Choose a name ( i scrolled to the bottom and chose train). Then on the next screen choose "data screens". Layout, scroll up and choose one. (at this point you can do your own thing, but for the sake of keeping things simple) Click on the screen (you'll see a green tick). Click on Screen one. Click on Edit data fields. tap screen again. select first option "connect iq". Select "couch to 5k". Tap screen again. It should say 1/2 added on data field screen. Hopefully I have the right end of the stick and it works!

Love this data field. It’s so easy to follow and makes jumping into the couch to 5k program simple. The process of making a new activity with the data field can be challenging, but there’s plenty of resources online to help figure it out!

Love it, really frustrated Garmin hadn't written one themselves but this is great. Would love a countdown on the screen to help know what stage you are at i.e. run 3 of 8 etc but still this is fantastic, thank you

This is a fantastic data field. I love that you can change what day you are in within connect iq settings. Nearly all of the bad reviews are because people don't know how to use their watch. READ OR WATCH VIDEO ON GARMIN DATA FIELD. Since this is a data field you can integrate right into the run activity with screens however you like. My setting is 3 screens. Screen 1 is 3 fields...this on top, pace mid and HR bottom. I then have a 2nd screen that is distance, totally time and Avg HR. Last screen is HR zone. Love it!

Once you know how to add it as a data field (thankfully I knew how to do this already) it was easy to use, and was helpful to be able to change the next run if needed. So good to have a couch25k that isn't a phone app or podcast. I agree with another comment that it would be good to have an audible notification.
