Hi there Are you also using a Stryd running pod? if so there are known issues on certain Garmin watches when multiple 3rd party sensors which rely on Connect IQ data fields are used. To overcome this you can use Display Option 32, set in the Connect IQ app on your phone. If not using Stryd, make sure you haven't also connected your watch to the CORE as a muscle oxygen sensor. You don't need to do any pairing like you normally would do with an external sensor. It all gets done via the data field. If you need more help contact us directly at [email protected]

Im just reading all the reviews here and I’m so sorry I didn’t before I bought this sensor. Can’t use it with Stryd. Have to choose between power and core body temp. That’s disappointing. Also, first day using the sensor and my 255s has gone from 40% battery to 8%. In 2 hours. Yeah, no coincidence I suppose. Will obviously unpair, uninstall and have almost 300 usd sitting in a draw until developers decide to finish a clearly unfinished product. Sad and disappointing.

As others have posted already, atm it doesn’t work in combination with the Stryd footpod I‘m using as well. I already contacted support and was told, that they are working on this. That was >3 weeks now. Sorry but that is not acceptable. I paid >250€ for each of these sensors and >1000€ for my Garmin Enduro watch and these guys can’t play ball with each other? Come on guys, give me a break. If this isn’t resolved soon, I want my money back…

theoretically it works fine, however if you want to use it together with a Stryd Power sensor on a Fenix 7 you have to decide: either Stryd or Core. Only one works. There is no solution for this problem since weeks, the only "workaround" is to pair Core as an oxygen sensor and get the temperature as an oxygen reading.

An sich ein tolles Gadget, nur leider verbindet sich der Sensor nur noch sporadisch mit dem Garmin Edge 830. Beide Geräte sind auf dem aktuellsten Stand Alle Tipps unter Troubleshooting habe ich befolgt, leider ohne Erfolg. In der App zeigt es mir den Wert korrekt an, jedoch habe ich dies im Wettkampf nicht bei mir. Sorry für die schlechte Rezension, jedoch wirklich mühsam das Gerät in Kombi mit dem Garmin..

Thanks for the feedback Kevin. There was a Garmin update that makes some Edge computers after sleep mode have issues find the sensor. We have just released an update that should help detect this better. It could take up to 1.5 minutes still to find it but should work better now. Works well, excellent. Would help if it was clear what the "Display Option" setting was for, can't work it out by changing it and the github source code doesn't seem to be up to date to check. It would be useful to have the units as a setting you can override, I've built a version with this hardcoded to "C" but a setting would be nice. I'll raise a PR with the change but again doesn't seem worth doing if the github isn't synced.

Yes we agree - the Ultimate Pro Cycling datafield is a great alternative Note - please only install either the Ultimate Pro Cycling or the CORE datafield in one activity, just not both in the same activity. I've been impressed with the functioning of the app so far on the Garmin fēnix 6X and the 520 Edge Plus, but I cannot seem to find a way to display the temperature data in centigrade for analysis in Garmin Connect nor have I been able to discover how to view it in Training Peaks: your tutorial for TP seems designed only for coaches and I see none of the same options in the athlete-side TP. Thank you for any help!
