Garmin has an unbelievable add-on feature that surpasses expectations! Peter's Pacer: It is a must for all types of runners looking to visualize their goals instead of having to calculate on the go as we were accustomed.
Highly customizable and not perfect yet. It deserves to be a standard feature in every Garmin watch.
Thank you for a brilliant and simple tool!

Excellent all for pacing your races. It helped me on the way to my PB.

Peters (Race) Pacer (PRP) does an incredibly good job at helping you know your pace so you run accordingly, even under really difficult GPS reception conditions. I just finished running the Chicago Marathon, a race where everyone told me that my GPS watch would be off. And it was off, by over ¾ miles at the end of the race.
The PRP data screen on my Fenix 5X, however, perfectly showed my elapsed pace and it accurately predicted my finish time. I know this because for the first half of the Marathon the elapsed pace shown on the data screen was very consistent and lined up perfectly with the splits from the timing mats I received after the race. After the halfway point I started to fall off my pace so the splits the data screen showed became much less memorable and I can't compare them to the official splits. The estimated finish time shown by PRP was right on at the end, however, matching what the Marathon officials reported. And all this despite my Fenix 5X showing that I'd run 27.03 miles when I'm pretty sure I did the standard 26.2 miles of a marathon.
If you're ever running in an event where you want to know what your *true* pace is, use Peters (Race) Pacer, even if the GPS conditions aren't as bad as Chicago You'll want to use it in a few races beforehand so you get the feel of hitting the lap button when you cross the mile (or kilometer) marks, and also so you get it configured as you like. After that it's easy as pie. It's also super that as you wait in the starting corral the PRP data screen shows your heartrate, the GPS reception status, your watch's battery status, *and* the current time so you know how much time you've got before the gun goes off (or how late the official is in firing the starting gun).
This is one of the very few five star reviews I've ever given. But the product just works, and it works so well!

Used the data field yesterday during a half marathon. Very easy to set up, all important numbers are there. Love the distance correction using the lap button.

This data field is the ideal one for runners! Very much recommended!

I use Forerunner965.
I have some requests.
First, when over 1 hour, the display of between Timer and Dist overlaps.
Secondary, regarding ETA, I’d like you to display auto ETA, for example: 5k, 10k, half, 30k and 42.195k. Or, each distance can be selected or be selected automatically.

I love this. Easy to use, read and customise. Everything you need on one page for a well-executed race. It has helped me to plenty of PBs from 1 mile to 26.2 miles. I particularly value the automatic lap adjustment that recalculates your race stats based on course distance not theoretical GPS distance.

Great tool, really want to use it.
Unfortunately on my first race with app, all gone wrong.
By default I'm using metric system, but race markers were only in miles. I was manually lapping, and that confused the app greatly. Is it something developers can look into (auto recongizing?) instead of switching watch system to differen type before every race. Thanks

Really, really useful. I was worried that it would be awkward or annoying to using during a race, but found it really intuitive and simple. It helped me keep a steady pace and cross the finish line on my marathon yesterday almost exactly on target (three seconds to spare, ha!). Having accurate distance/pace information, without having to try to guess or calculate, is a huge benefit (I feel like this kind of feature should be built into the watch).
I'll definitely be using this on every race from now on.

I've used it for several races and it has worked perfectly to keep me on my target pace!

Was loving it until I realized it randomly adds mileage. Makes it difficult to train when you don’t know you true pace.

Great program if you wish to do PB

In use with Garmin forerunner 245
Works perfectly on long runs!

Only point missing is an option to switch to the black background like in the all in one app. But even with just a white background this app is still the best available for a run training with a specific time/pace goal.

I really want to like this app (and I don’t download apps) but it doesn’t fit right on my Fenix 6x - the fields are off the sides of the screen. My friend has a 945 and an Epix and it looks great on both of those.

Once you figured out how de app works, it’s the best!!

I love this app and would love to make a donation. How do I do that so I can get rid of the message?

Finished another (Half-)Marathon last weekend with Peter‘s Race Pacer. Works awesome and helps a lot to receive your target time.
Thank you Peter!!!
