I like this app. Many people have complained that the altitude shown is wrong. One thing you HAVE to remember is the altitude comes from GPS data. That data assumes the the Earth is a perfect spheroid (which it is not). It's best used to track relative altitude changes, as in how high you've gone from your starting point to current location.

On devices without barometer - that is correct. However on devices with the barometer - Garmin says in SDK - altitude will be provided from the best source. As developers, we never know what is the source of it and how frequently it will change data. We do our best and just put on screen all the data at least twice per second. Thank you for high score!

Dear Marko! Our app displays only the information your device internally stores. If it is not correct, your device may be faulty, uncalibrated, or not-a-fenix device, do not expect excessive precision on other products, that were not designed By Garmin (!sic not us!) to display altitude at all. Resolutuion: try to find the way to calibrate device, replace faulty device, upgrade device to fenix series. Have a nice day!

Thank you for very informative review! We regret our app did not satisfy your needs. First of all we must say we only use Garmin hadrware to display value. If it is incorrect, then your hardware records and stores wrong value. If you have fenix device, calibrate altimeter. If you have vivo- series device - please do not expect high-end precision from entry level device. It's better to change device to get maximum from Garmin.

fenix devices and similar have altimeter calibration menu. If you have entry level device from vivoactive or venu series, do not expect full features set from GARMIN. We are just 3rd party developers and provide all the information YOUR device can supply. If it works differently you expect, please exchange it or upgrade. Sorry we have not met your expectations. Sad cat is crying due to low score mark from you.
