Good Datafield, but the font size is very small (Edge 530). Please make it larger or configurable.

Why is my maximum value reset when my activity is suspended? Please adjust to record maximum after activity ends!

Having reviewed this app earlier I now have an update following a more in-depth test. Tested on a Garmin Edge 820 The maximum gradient is recorded and when the unit is paused the maximum value is reset to zero. This is not very helpful if you are looking to record the maximum over a complete ride which has pauses (for whatever reason - water stop - puncture - rest) . I would suggest that the developer changes the reset to occur on the 'Save' function and if he [the developer] feels the need to retain the 'Pause' reset that he makes this a configurable option. Regarding the calculation of the Grade this is configurable in terms of the horizontal distance travelled vs the altitude gained/lost. I have found that 50 metres gives the best representation of the actual feel on the road. 20 metres gives wildly exaggerated values when compared with 50 metres. But play around as you want. I believe that Garmin use 100 metres as the horizontal distance and as far as I can see this is not configurable. So if you use 50 metres then the Grade Value will differ from that displayed by the Garmin Grade data field.

I have noticed that maxium grade have not aligned with current grade of Garmin. The values are overestimated. Why ? Perhaps, I could improve the situation modify the values of applications ? Is it possible to download this value on Garmin connect ?
