I have tried many apps for Paragliding and Paramotoring. Yes there are free apps, but all seem to have at least one key feature missing. F3b covers all my requirements. Especially nice is the auto start and stop on take off and landing. Previously with other free apps I'd always forget to start or stop the app. F3B also has the ability to add notes preflight. This enables me to input my logbook data, such as Tandem, solo, wing, ppg, weather, passenger name etc and so I can easily export my flight logs and filter based on these variables. So f3b is now my only flight instrument, as well as my logbook! I have reached out to the developer on several occasions to request additional features and he has been extremely responsive. Great value for only $5 a year.

Great app, but it seems all the flying apps use a similar data set. Between the "flight controls" and making your own app, or using stufly, they all seem to do the same thing. Except this one has a $5 annual charge, and when I went flying recently it was expired. So I could not log my flights, this is the sole reason I'm leaving this app.

Hello, How can I save a waypoint in this App? I can't write for example 47.00000 because i can't write a point. I tried it with "," (47,00000) and the app returned a mistake because the number isn't in the allowed range. What's my fault in this input? Thanks for help!

I love all F3B apps, and i will write the review here as skydiver (the app icon showing skydiver and gave the impression that this app possibly designs for skydiver) As skydiver number one thing I want in an app, is a clear clean altitude pretty much that.. the most important aspect, n the shortcomings of garmin that the altitude needs to manually rest to zero feet whenever we are on the ground (disabling the automatic alt. Update and manually insert 0 as altitude when in the ground) An ideal (and yet simple) skydiver app will * Disable automatic altitude update _temporatly_ * Set altitude to ft * Set altitude to zero (on the group of drop zoon) * Display in high contrast in a single screen the altitude in ft as big and clear as possible * Keep refreshing the altitude asap Advance feature would be to record the entire session highest altitude <would be the exit altitude) and the speed to drow a curve ffrom exit to opening to landing

Is there any way to reset the altitude to zero and use the barometric sensor on vivoactive3 instead of GPS to calculate altitude. GPS is very inaccurate.

Works great for paragliding! I use it as a back-up logger, but the ease of transferring my flights to the computer (i.e do nothing...) leads to me using it as a primary instrument for analyzing my flights. An added benefit is that I can see my heartrate during flight phases... Always high on take-off and in strong thermals!

Hi, this app was working fine for me but since today when i try to enter any settings it asks me to open outside garmin connect and then it goes to a web browser and when i click save it gives a wierd file that i can stor to my ohone but none of the setting get stored in the app... i even tried uninstalling and reinstalling bit now cant even put in my activation code.. help

On vivoactive 3: if you introduce the DD the watch will display by default the distance in Km. If you change in settings Km to Nm the only thing that changes on the watch's screen is "Km" into "Nm" but the numeric value remains the same. How to solve this?

Finding it very useful for Paramotor flying especially the speed alt and vsi screen. Would be great if there was an option to configure speed units, can't find a way to go from mph to kph but maybe I'm missing something. Overall great addition to my flying.

Мне не понравилось! Много бесполезных данных! Чтобы летать по маршруту надо координаты точек каждый раз прошивать а у меня есть уже забитые маршруты и я ими воспользоваться не могу! И нет поля боковое уклонение, пеленг, курс!
