Smoke Free Companion is your personal companion on the journey to a smoke-free life. From the moment you open it, you'll see your progress toward the next recovery milestone — a visual progress ring with real-time updates on how long it's been since your last cigarette, the number of cigarettes not smoked, and the money saved.
With Smoke Free Companion, take control of your health and embrace a fresh start.

To set up your quit date and personalize your experience, you can either use the Connect IQ app on your phone or edit everything right on your watch:

On your watch:
1. Long-press the UP button on any screen to open Settings directly.

From your phone:
1. Open the Connect IQ app on your mobile device.
2. Select the Garmin device where you've installed the Smoke Free Companion widget.
3. Navigate to the widget settings for Smoke Free Companion.
4. Enter your quit date and time, and other relevant data.

Once set up, Smoke Free Companion will start tracking your progress and providing real-time updates on your journey to a smoke-free life.

I developed this widget primarily for my own use as a fun project to help me quit smoking. Debugging across multiple devices isn't my idea of fun, so the widget is currently only available for the Fenix 6 and Fenix 7 lineup. The source code is open to the public—if you'd like to make it compatible with other devices, feel free to submit a pull request.
