this is a fantastic app! i came over to it from the C25K app on IOS and this feels a little more ambitious, and i love it!

A mi no me gusta, no reconoce el GPS y no da tiempo para calentarse al principio. Ya la borre.

Great app. I've done a podcast version of the couch to 5k (years ago) and found this version which uses wrist vibration/ watch notification rather than audio way more enjoyable. It's super easy to follow and I like that it records as a normal run in Garmin so you can track metrics/ see a map etc. Nearly finished the program now and will definitely use further apps from this developer. Can't recommend enough!

Just completed Week 1 Day 2 run. A great app and nearly there to get 5 stars. I just wish that like others have said, that there was a warm up walk at the beginning and a cool down walk at the end. Also I would love for it to move automatically to the next run once one is completed so I know where I’m up to. A great app though and anyone considering should just get it!

Just tried my first run with this app. Seems to work well enough. Only problems I had were that it immediately starts with running (no warm up, had to select a separate activity for that) and that it didnt show me a map of my run.

Nice app. Would like to be able too upload a schedule to it, with own run/walk sequences, ideally also with pace targets per sequence.

the C25K program gives you the 5 minute warm-up and cool down periods. this program does not. why is that? as soon as I start the app it says RUN, with no warm-up at all !?

It is a very nice and useful tool. I do have some suggestions that might help. Iwould like a message about half way through that tells me to turn around. Now I have to look at the time to estimate when to start heading back and make the final rest/walk much longer;). Also it doesn't remember which day is next (auto increment).

Nice app. Should the watch vibrate at the change from walk to run? The settings seem to be correct but I’m not getting any notification which means I have to keep looking so I don’t miss the change.

Very nice app. Things I would like to see at first "use":- 1) Ability to see the full schedule of the selected day workout from the summary screen. I had no idea what to expect. 2) Ability to scroll through all days in order to see what's coming up: it would help with planning ahead. Ah ok, also just to be nosy. 3) The voice tells you what you are about to do not what you have just done. I have no interest in knowing I just did a 2-minute rest but I would like to know over my headphones that I am about to do a 3-minute run. Yes, hearing the pace for that run would also be good but not the rest periods. "Rest period over, 3 minutes run starting". "3 minutes run over. the pace is... Rest for 2 minutes". Possible? I am guessing this is a limitation of the Garmin tracking and reporting API? 4) More prompts (option) so I know each minute what is left to go. Us fatties struggling like to know there's only 2 minutes left! ;) 5) And the MOST important. Auto-advance to the next session and integrate in the calendar. All that said, great app. I like it all be self-contained on the watch. As a beginner (or rather coming back to fitness after a couple of decades of excess) I found the training plans from both Garmin AND Runtastic to be WAY too optimistic. 30 min warm up run. I don't think so.

Thanks. 1/ With the screen estate available it is a bit of a problem to show the full schedule on the watch, but I've just edited the info page on starttorun.info to add the schedule info (you might need to refresh the page to clear the cache) 2/ you can actually use the up/down arrow to scroll the lessons, but the info in 1/ is probably a better way to look ahead. 3/ this is unfortunately not possible 4/ this is configurable via the application settings 5/ the auto-advance is not implemented on purpose, it could be that you struggled with the current lesson and want to do this same lesson the next time. To advance to the next lesson use the up arrow. Cheers, Peter.

I love this app and certainly don’t regret donating. It is simple and had everything I need. There are plenty of running apps that require headphones for audio motivation and interval changes, but with this one you only need your watch, not even your phone is required. It links to my Garmin activities, so I get all the data fields and reports to look at afterwards, such as heart rate. While running, I have all the fields I need such as heart rate and speed. Thanks so much for this app, and I look forward to starting on the 10k one!

Great app, it is really motivating for me! Thanks for your work! I would like to ask one thing; how can I see or know which training is meant to be for example a interval training? I checked thw support forums but couldn't find anything related to detailed plan!

Nice App. Would like to see the schedule (W1R2W1R3...) and progress. To show the progress you can make a round progress bar and indicate running (red) and walking (green) and where you are in the schedule. A bit like the standard indicators on my VivoActive 3.

The visual progress bar is a good idea, I'll add that to my to do. Showing the complete schedule in the form you suggest is a problem for some of the training sessions due to their length and the small screen estate you have to work with, I've posted the complete schedule in the support topic though, so you can check there prior to your run. Cheers, Peter.
