It works perfectly on Edge Explore 2, no interference with my other ant+ sensors and devices.

The temperature versus time graph should be corrected. During the 8-hour hike, it is unreadable and shows little of it.

Sadly it didn't quite work out as expected on my Tactix Delta Solar (Fenix 6X). I enabled the "store into .fit file" or some wording like that, and it would not sync my activity! I had to manually transfer it from my device, and upload it to Connect. However, I did a walk-activity (also with this datafield enabled) and it worked fine? I should point out though, that I had enabled the graph when I did the walk-activity, whereas the graph was disabled when I did the run-activity. Would be a useful datafield if I could get it to work. Thanks for putting an effort into this software, free of charge! Much appreciated!

Been using this for a while on my 1030 plus, and it works great. It's nice to have a relatively accurate temperature record, since the internal thermometer can be so wildly inaccurate sometimes ((I've seen 40 degrees to high on sunny days.) The only issue I've encountered was when I had an action camera also connected to the Tempe, it seemed to prevent the 1030 plus from connecting, but when only the 1030 plus is connected, the data field works perfectly.

Podría tener la información en línea y no una actualización cada 5 minutos

Works perfectly on an Edge 530, it shows the Tempe reading in a data page and record it in the .fit file, perfect to view in Garmin Connect (and the Tempe is a lot more precise than the internal 530 sensor, if properly placed not in the sun light).

Can You add an config option to set reading/logging interval? Tempe sends value every minute. I'll even create PayPal account if You add it ;-)

Sehr gut App um die Temperatur in der FIT Datei festzuhalten. Funktioniert mit dem Montana 750i

Het idee vind ik goed. Het spaart veel stroom. Maar jammer dat het niet altijd werkt op mijn GPSMAP 66

Very good! I sent a donation to remove the message that appears for 5 seconds two times every minute. He sent me a code to enter after less than a day. Sadly this did not remove the message. But when I asked for help, he replied very quickly with a suggestion that fixed the problem. If you own a Garmin Tempe, and want to use it with your Edge bike computer, this is what you need! The Tempe still sends temerature readings only every 5 minutes, but I think this is enough. If Garmin chose to update the temperature every minute, the battery in the Tempe would last only 2-3 months

Thanks for this app which, unlike the other one I tried, keeps working throughout a ride. I'm only giving 4 stars at the moment as I would welcome some refinements (i) a smaller font appropriate to the 10 field display I'm using on my Edge 1030; (ii) degree symbol + C after the number; and (iii) the ability for the user to apply an offset between the reported temperature and that displayed / recorded. All my Garmin devices supply a temperature several degrees below the actual. If it's also possible to have an option to stop the Edge writing Garmin's temperature to the .fit file then that would be wonderful.

It's unlikely I'll provide an offset value, you should expect the Tempe to measure right, right? You can already choose whether or not to record the tempe values to the fit file or not in the app settings. The numeric font I'm using does not contain characters for C or F, so I can't put it after the number, but I've put the C or the F in the label of the field. I'll see if I can finetune the layouts to better match what the edge is showing natively in each layout. Cheers, Peter.

Many thanks for this data field for the Tempe Sensor. I installed the "Tempe Visualizer" on my Garmin 130 and tested it on a ride. Unfortunately the visualization on the Garmin 130 is not displayed. Maybe this function is not available on the Garmin. Is that so? The temperature display is top and is also updated and that is the most important thing for me! Thank you for this very helpful data field for the Tempe temperature sensor. It works very well.
