After update to 3.5 I lost auto start and stop. Reported the problem and a fix, version 3.51 was launched within very short time. I am very pleased with this app. After changing to Venu2 auto start and stop was not available for cross country skiing on Garmin app. This app solves that for me. Torstein

On Garmin Forerunner 55 there is no speed, distance - zero while using and within mobile app. If you fix, i would be able to try app and write left real review

Zero distance and speed on FR55. Only heart rate and time were measured. Is it a limitation of the free version too? Also need to push different buttons too many times to make it working. Run, walk, and other apps start much easier.

Update to the previous review. Bought a FR 935 and it is just about perfect for this app; heart rate colour scale and numerical value at the top, distance and speed side by side in the centre, grad % at the bottom and still lower the local time. Kudos to R.H. Only flaw: the last page shows up as the default page, which is a bit unusual. On to using the gathered data on Connect. In addition to the map there are five graphs shown; Elevation, Speed, Heart Rate, Temperature, Grade. OK BUT the layout on a 23" desktop display, doesn't allow to see the map, with the cursor progressing along the track, and the grade graphic in that line up. Deleting speed and temperature "fixes" that, but..... Combining the data of Elevation and Grade would allow to show Speed, who cares about Temperature? ! BTW Strava seems to have a clear advantage in that department i.e. follow the elevation graphic and get the grade :((

This would be even better if there were a) the gradient ( climb +%; descent -%) of the course as a selection/entry; b) proper PDF manuals in both English and/or German instead of the mix of both Diese App wäre besser wenn a) Steigung und Gefälle angezeigt würden b) die PDF Handbücher in klarem Deutsch oder Englisch verfasst würden anstatt dem momentanen Gemisch.

Would like to love it but it's unuseable for me (VA3, Fenix 5)...it constantly loses its registration status from Paid to Free, at exactly the time I need it to work; extremely irritating, deleted.

Why so long APP name? "Cross-Country Skiing App Professional", I only see in Garmin Connect, acitivity, "city Freestyle Cross" or "city Classic Cross-C". I wish I could have the name as "city Freestyle XC" or "city Classic XC".is it possible to change?

Useful app and great customer service if you have any issues! All of his apps are nice as they use the same format but it will list the name of the sport in your Garmin activities.

I really enjoy this app on my FR235. However, after a ski outing I have to reboot my FR235 so it will connect to USB to charge, and at the same time sync with my Garmin Connect account. After rebooting the HRM, it begins to charge and will sync. Is anyone having this issue? (Mac Sierra on Mac Mini Server.) Thanks!

Can i somehow turn off the auto stop function? I notice that sometimes in really uphill it Think it goes 0 km/h so it pauses... but im still moving, just really slow so the app Think it pause.. I have set the auto stop km/h dejting to 0 km/h.

Wanneer je stilstaat gaat de gps raar doen. Later bij opslaan zie je dit terug door allemaal lijnen door elkaar waardoor de route niet meer zichtbaar is. Ook kloppen de gegevens dan niet meer.

It seems the settings you save in Garmin Express are not actually saved into the FR920XT device: is it a bug or a known limitation of the FREE version ?

Didn't work. Nothing was recorded and no sync to connect. Did a 18 km run, It looked ok regarding time and distance. But all was gone after saving and exiting the app. Going back to Garmin's XC app, which at least works.

Great app! I would suggest to add an "auto-pause" when you're moving with the chair lift towards the top of the mountain (when altitude increases).. during the day I couldn't remember to stop-start every time I took the chair lift and that mess up the average value!

Super App. Genau das wonach ich gesucht habe. Funktioniert auch tadellos. Nur, dann zeigt es mir während dem Training die Kadenz an, überträgt sie aber nicht als Statistik in die Auswertung. Was habe ich dann davon? Keine Möglichkeit zur Analyse. Eventuell habe ich auch was beim Setup übersehen aber das sollte jedenfalls möglich sein.

Really good app! I like the possibility to choose numbers of data on each page, especially the 2 data field pages that makes it easy to see the numbers. The activity is shown as Cross country skiing so you don’t have to edit in Garmin.

App seems to be quite good but.. I have received code for profeesional version, put into garmin express, made synchronization, changed some features (HR, Time, laps and alerts etc) and it doesn't work. In my Garmin 920 XT (triathlon version) app still shows information that it is free version and subsequently no changes I made are shown in my Garmin. Should I uninstall free version and install proff one?
