Bonjour Nicolas. Ce n'est pas l'endroit ici pour signaler la présence d'un éventuel bogue qui, en l'occurence n'existe pas ici; un contact par mail aurait été préférable. Je vous ai adressé un mail pour vous expliquer d'où provient votre problème (votre fichier settings est obsolète avec la version actuelle de l'application, que vous n'avez probablement pas dû mettre à jour pendant un certain temps); il vous faut donc désinstaller complètement l'application (ainsi que tous les fichiers settings associés - important) puis, réinstaller l'application. Alors, tout rentrera dans l'ordre.

Excelente aplicación con muchos datos, siempre dentro de lo que el reloj permite capturar con sus censores. La uso desde 2019 y en diferentes relojes sin ningún problema. En cada cambio de reloj me comunique con el programador para solicitarle el código de desbloqueo y me respondió en el día. La recomiendo!!

I have had this application for several years and I am very happy. I had it installed on my fenix 5 and now in version 6. But since the latest version, after starting up for a few minutes, an error appears on the fenix screen putting IQ¡ . The session when I exit leaves it recorded, but I can't see anything on the screen during it. I do not know what else to do.

I have been using Wind-Kite Pro (currently using 4.14) since August 2018 for windsurfing. I have written two previous reviews but thought 4 year's use, covering almost 2,500km, now warranted another. I have used it on the sea in a variety of conditions with sails from 8sqm down to 3.2sqm and boards from 120l down to 82l. I have not changed my mind about my previous 5* ratings. The more I use this app, the more I appreciate the thought that has gone into it. It is feature rich and initially I used it in a very simple way. I am now making more use of the advanced data it collects but, while on the water, I still just use the minimalist screen, because my eyesight is not great for reading. Afterwards, I like reviewing the FIT files in Garmin Connect but also export copies into Garmin Basecamp, where I can view GPS tracks of multiple sessions at once. This great app really deserves a 5* rating and is great value for money, especially considering the continuous developments and improvements. Thank you Jean Michel.

This app records LOTS of data but these are of NO USE as long as these CONNECT IQ values can not be exported to a separate database to analyse them. Whether this is due to Garmin or the developer I don’t know. A shame really as it has lots of potential…

Hello J. Blyweert and thanks for your comment. Once you synced your session with Connect, the session is exported to your Garmin dashboard. Then, if you want to export the content of the FIT file to be opened and analyzed in another platform, you can use and click on the small gear-wheel symbol on the top right of the session page. Then, you can export the file in different formats (FIT, GPX, CSV, etc) to be used by the platform or software of your choice.

So I have try the for at least 40 sessions, on 4 different spots, for twintip freestyling sessions or downwind. First of all, it doesn't mesure jumps at all. 90% of the time it says 0 jump a session when I have done at least 30 of them + other tricks . Then the jibe score : I seriously don't understand how is it calculate because I have the impression that the worst are my jibe, the best is my score. Same with the "skill score" , saying totally the opposite of the reality. Nore over I really don't like the idea of a skill score. It's not good spirit as most of the users are not running championship. The last but not the least, I don't understand some of the scrren on my watch during the session.. All those graphics doesn't seems working as it didn't provide me any information.

The app contains a simulator that you can launch within the app to see the app in action, like you were in a real session, and this tool is available even for non registered users. So with it, the user can test the application as if he were actually using it in real navigation, but with random data. This tool is accessible via the "Tools - Simulator" menu.

Bonjour Raphael et merci pour votre commentaire. L'application peut paraître complexe mais, à son utilisation, elle est en fait très simple: saisir les 2 données de vent (axe + vitesse), le matériel utilisé (optionnel), et c'est parti, tout le reste s'effectue tout seul, en tâches de fond ! Il existe également la possibilité d'afficher un écran minimaliste, qui permet de ne présenter à l'écran que 3 données seulement, en gros caractères, choisies parmi une liste selon les besoins du rider. Par ailleurs, un très grand nombre de riders souhaitent bénéficier d'un maximum de données pour leurs sessions, cette application leur apporte donc tout ce dont ils ont besoin, avec fiabilité et précision quant à l'exactitude des données calculées. Il est toujours difficile de satisfaire tout le monde, certains souhaitent plutôt quelque chose de minimaliste, quand d'autres préfèrent avoir le maximum de données, cette application apporte l'un, et l'autre.

très bonne application ,prend énormement de batterie ,dommage qu'il n'y est pas d'enregistrement 2s ,5s ,la vitesse max pris sur 10 secondes enregistré suivant l'état de la houle nous donne pas notre maximum en pointe (10 seconde en windsurf c'est très long )

Merci Bordes pour votre commentaire. La consommation de batterie résulte du nombre très important de calculs effectués en temps réel, on ne peut bénéficier de toutes les données calculées simultanément par l'application sans que cela ait un minimum de coût... énergétique. Ceci dit, avec une montre de type outdoor, vous tenez plus d'une journée de session sans problème. Quant aux top speeds sur 2 et 5 secondes, top speed sur run entre 2 jibes, etc, cela sera ajouté ultérieurement, dans une future version, c'est prévu.
