Hue Control Widget

!!! Note: The widget doesn't works as is if you are using a Smartpone with Android version 9 or higher. Look at the section "Solve problems" at the end of the description to solve this.

This Widget allows you to control your lights in a Philips Hue lighting system.
It shows all configured rooms and light groups for switching and dimming.
The widget does not require an internet connection for the normal usage, it works in the local Wifi network. Only on first start it needs an internet connection to request the IP address of the Hue bridge using the Philips discovery service.

The following things are required for the widget to work:

- Device must be connected to your Smartphone to Garmin Connect via Bluetooth
- Smartphone must have a connection to your Wifi and must be able to reach the Hue Bridge
- On first start the Smartphone must be connected to the internet
- You must have groups or rooms configured in the Hue Bridge. The widget does not show single lights. Use the Hue app to create groups. A group can also consist of just one item.

Here is how it works:
================
- When you start it the first time you are requested to push the button on Hue Bridge. Go to your Hue Bridge and press the blue shining button once.
- Now you should see the widget's main screen.
- Here you can decide if you want to switch lights on and off or if you want to dimm lights.

--- On / Off mode
------ Press the Start button to see the list of all your rooms and light groups.
------ Select one of them and press the Start button. This toggles the light between on and off.
------ Press the back button to go back to main screen.

--- Dimming mode
------ Press the Menu button (long press) to see the list of all dimmable rooms and groups. You won't see non-dimmable devices here.
------ Select one of them and press the Start button. This opens another view showing the brightness.
------ Press the Up and Down buttons to change the brightness.
------ Press the back button to go back to the list.
------ Press the back button to go back to main screen.

- Press the back button to leave the widget.
- On each next start the lists are sorted depending on the number of usages of the entries.

Solve problems:
=============
If you are using Android with version 9 or newer and instantly get a "Comm Error: -300:
- This problem occurs because Garmin Connect no longer allows plain HTTP requests since this version, but the widget needs them. To make it work install the Companion App on your smartphone. After starting once, you can close it, there's still a service running as long as you see the icon in the notifications. Download the apk from here for now:

If you get connection errors, check the following:
- Is your device connected to the Smartphone? Can you synchronize with Garmin Connect?
- Does your Smartphone have a connection to Hue Bridge? Does the Hue App work?
- Can you open the following page in the Smartphone's browser?: https://discovery.meethue.com/
- Does this request deliver something like the following? (values can be different): [{"id":"001788fffe2adf68","internalipaddress":"192.168.1.50"}]

If the list of groups and rooms is empty, check the following:
- Have you created light groups or rooms in the Hue Bridge?
- Check the Hue app on your Smartphone to see if there are any rooms or groups.
