Couch to 5k running app

Currently working my way through the process and its going well. It works really well on my Instinct 2 and I really like the vibrating alerts when its time to switch from walk to jog etc. The only reason it doesn't get 5* is that the instructions were a little vague for a new Garmin watch user regarding setting up a new custom activity and data fields - I had zero idea what that was all about until I did a load of Googling but got there in the end and it all works well.

True to the brilliant and original plan created by Josh Clark in 1996. Simple user interface showing just the right amount of detail and giving just the right level of promoting (optional) needed. I used this plan years ago to get myself moving after too many years on the couch and now my wife is using your IQ Data Field to do the same. Have you considered publishing a similar data field for progressing from 5k to 10k (and beyond)?

I can't work out how to use it on my watch it's near on impossible to get to work what am I doing wrong?

It took a little patience to get it setup the way I wanted it on my watch (Fenix 6 Pro Solar), but once I did I was a big fan of it. I don’t like running (outside) with headphones, so I really liked the subtle vibration feedback letting me know when to walk and run. It worked flawlessly! This is a great way to start (or, like me, get back to) running in a safe, healthy, moderate way. All things that I appreciate now that I’m in my 40’s. Lol!

Can’t find the app on my device Sq2 although on my phone it says the app is installed. Please advice.

Reposting these directions so others can see them. I did it through the watch itself (Forerunner 245) after downloading the app. ATTENTION: everyone who couldn’t get this to show up on their watch. - Go to settings - activities & apps - add (at the bottom) - create - copy an activity (I chose run) - choose a name - data screens - screen 1 - edit data fields - click one of the 4 “data fields” to edit - connect IQ apps - couch to 5k

I used this on the Fenix 6 Pro Solar. I upgraded to the Epix Pro and I hope this app becomes compatible soon.

This is great! I love the notifications as I'm brand new to running and it's nice to know I'm almost at the walk part. Thabk you Sam for the step by step on how to load it onto the watch

5 stars to Sam for the details on how to use it!!! I could not figure out how to get it working. I will update once I start using it but for now just glad to figure out how to get it working on my Garmin Instinct 2S.

Love it but l don't need the 10s warning and would love a halfway alert (beep) so l don't have to look at the watch. It'd be great if these were optional.

Great idea to have this downloaded to my watch. Once I figured out how to load it up, its brilliant! Sometimes I don't know if I've missed the 'buzz' so is there a way to display if I'm in 'jog' mode or 'walk' mode?

Works really well. I struggled to work out how to load it as a few others have so here are very simple instructions for a vivoactive 4: Press bottom button - settings - activities /apps - Scroll to the bottom - add more - copy activity - run- Select name - data screens - select the screen you want the details to be on Edit data fields - tap the field you want the programme to appear in - connectiq fields - couch to 5k :)

App has been working perfectly and I love that you can amend the week/workout you are on as a lot of these apps use calendar entries. One thing I cannot figure out is how/when the Week and Day show on the screen? On my 4s the run starts and the first thing that shows in the data field is the 5min walk timer? So I need to check the settings on my phone to see what week/day I am on.
