I’ve had good luck with this app and bad luck. Most of the time this app saves hikes when I click on save, but sometimes it just doesn’t. And I look on my Garmin history, and the hike isn’t there. It just didn’t save - don’t know why. I’m on vacation in France, and it saved a hike I did 3 days ago, but didn’t save the one I did today. Annoying.

This app is horrible. I’ve saved hike activities multiple times using this app and then the activities didn’t actually record and I have no records of the activities. Extremely disappointing, especially when you’re training.

Freezes on Venu SQ (paid version), all data after a long hiking is lost. Very disappointing.

Shitty App. The free version is not working! All the data after a 25k and 6h hike after saving are lost! Testet it a few times! First time (the full veraion) was working. Secound time after trust in the app I got only free version and the data after saving are lost! Other free apps are working better! Why should you pay for such an shitty app?!

I have had issues with app connecting to gps but I like the display once it connects. The biggest issue is my last couple hikes didn’t save data when I have clicked it to save.

Love the display - perfect and easy to read. If it had a ‘resume’ option this would be my go-to app. I bump the start/stop button frequently when hiking - any time I take off a layer or sometimes even just while walking. The little bone on my wrist just loves that button. If I hear the alert I’ll save and start another segment, but too often I don’t hear the sound and miss tracking large swaths of hike.

Crap. The accompanying website does not work, the data fields don't show. Not a clue what the difference is in paid vs free versions. All in all: better removed.

Keeps freezing so now I just use walk mode and update my sports type on Strava. Uninstalling this now, have lost too much data due to freezing

Distance is not accurate. I did a hike that was 3.2 miles from trailhead to summit. This app recorded it as 1.49 miles. The hike up took almost 2 hours, but the app shows 50 minutes. I don't rely on calories, but I do use that figure as a relative measure of effort, the app shows 420 for the hike up. The other app I used for the way down shows 788. Clearly down is less work than up. The GPS mapped out the route correctly, so it knows where I went, just not how long or how far.

One can look far and wide to get all the data functions for walking one "needs"/wants. If they have this, they lack that. Hiking or walking it's basically the same. Now what I really needed was an app with auto-pause and yes hiker has it. Does all the rest that is desired, in short "A OK!" aka "Great".

Not so happy with the app as it is not accurate. It does not recognize my jungle hike or staircase elevation. It only read straight road trail. Calories burn is very low and inaccurate.

Total bug, ne donne pas l'altitude montée ou descendue, fait carrément bugger la montre. Obligé d'éteindre l'appareil, pas possible de voir les différents écrans pendant la marche. Pire, l'activité a été introuvable 1 fois sur 2.

Switches off after every 10 minutes and saves in 10 minute sections. So a three hour hike would be saved as 18 10 minute hikes (and you would have to restart it 17 times)

Read the manual! The email with the keys went to my spam folder so check your spam if you don’t see it. Also, only the first screen appears until the gps loads and then the other windows appear once you hit record. Kees patiently helped me get started even though it’s all in the manual. Thanks Kees!

Nice app, wekl worth the couple of euros for the pro version can you try and make it less battery intensive though? as it using the battery a lot Fénix 5x, 14.20 firmware

Finde die App recht gut. Heute wandern gewesen und lief ohne Probleme. Würde mir noch einstellbare Autolap wünschen und eine Seite wo man die Karte sieht.

This is an update review of this app after field testing it. First of all it would be nice if the start screen can read the gps and get the sunrise and sunset without having the phone connected. I would like for the battery icon to be placed vertical along the side of the heart and bluetooth logo. I think it would look much cleaner that way. The first recording screen is calculating the distance correctly but the back to home screen is not calculating the distance accurately. I had registered 4.00 miles on the first recording screen and the back to home screen was reading well over 6.00 miles. The more miles you register the higher the discrepancy. During my hike I was trying to manually pause the activity pressing the back button as per the instructions. I could not manage to pause the app manually. I think the app has potential and hopefully the developer keeps supporting it.
