Overall...love the app, because it's versatile in the workouts you can apply it to, but I wish it did have a way to measure distance completed. It would help when working on how much ground is covered during a workout. Also, it would be great if it had a pause feature.

I've been looking for an app like this. Works well, except I'm not sure how to pause. I hit the right button to pause, but it put me into cool down & then when I hit return my interval times were wrong

Great app. I would prefer if I can set the number of repetitions. So the first page is where I set the training time, second page is where I set the rest time, then a third page where I set the repeats. When I start the training the watch should then automatically stops the training when the number of releases is reached. Example, 30sec training, 10sec rest, 8 repeats.

Excellent app, although if there was a target pace and longer work and rest intervals it would be better as most of my runs have rest intervals well over a minute. Thanks.

Thank you for the review and comments. The app is not only for running - so targets are set for heart rate, instead of pace. The target heart rates and the lengths of the work and rest intervals can all be set by pressing and holding the right button to enter the options menu. These settings are saved for the next time you use the app.

It's really nice to get a specialized app for the interval training! The app mostly fulfills my needs, but obviously it would be great with a bit more of possibilities in the configuration (e.g. setup a target pace, show the current pace etc.) and in the visualization (multiple data screens). All of this is, however, a lot of work so I understand if those will ever become reality. I also noticed that in my Vivoactive HR the app does not seem to work always properly if I start it, go away and try to restart it. Then I randomly get only a Connect IQ logo with an exclamation mark on it. At this point restarting the watch helps and the app works again. Not a big deal, but wanted to inform about this anyway.

Was great, but with the new cool down feature heart Rate doesn't work anymore. Please fix. Also make the gps a one time setting like the time intervals. Thanks.

The heart rate continues to function as before (on my device, at least). Please note that the vivoactive HR can sometimes take up to a minute to establish continuous heart rate monitoring (this differs from the occasional heart rate monitoring that takes place outside of an activity). Hopefully during the warmup phase it becomes established. Thank you for the suggestion to move the GPS option to the settings menu. This would not work well for someone who uses the app sometimes for running outdoors and sometimes for indoor training. It would be easy to forget to change the option in the settings menu.

Thank you for the feedback. Warm-up and cool-down stages are now included in v1.4. (Target heart rates for High Intensity and Recovery intervals can be adjusted: hold right button to adjust these.)
