to go out well prepared (for work or pleasure), this is the ideal widget; clear, informative and easy to read. Highly recommended, especially the premium version.
Great 7 day forecast! I work at night and this is very handy. It's also good to see precipitation.
I also like that I can use different weather services! key came quick and no problems!
It could have been so good but. ...
Sadly let down by one small bit vital omission. It will only forecast the weather in your current location, so if you want to know whether or not to plan a day at the beach 20 miles away this widget won't help you.
Just adding the ability to remember a previous location and select it would have made all the difference. It's such a shame because the layout of the app is great. . Oh well, the search goes on. ....
I agree. That would be a good feature. I'll have to think about how best to implement that.
Unlock email came promptly. Widget at first displayed 5 days of data but next day saw the 7.
BEWARE! I paid the $5 to get the unlock code but never received. I sent two notes to the developer and have heard nothing.
Sorry Michael, I've had email problems the last few days but I think I've got that taken care of and you should have your unlock key now.
Can't keep the location and always asking for gps on fenix 5
Today I released a fix to save the location that will help on those watches that don't save their last position automatically.
Battery killing app no no .....
I'am using it on a Fenix 6 Pro. Very nice widget.
I though you need to enter an API key to use the On Weather function.
My normal Garmin weather widget hasn't been working for a bout a week. Good thing too because I found this beauty. I LOVE it. Awesome Can't wait to see what upgrades there will be in the future. Five stars. Fantastic.
I actually just installed it and tried it out quickly, but it seems to do just what it should. Easy recommendation.
Would just wish for a bit more information in the description (Like units used or difference of the weather providers)
It's only in Fahrenheit, hoped it would be in Celsius. Don't know how to get it off of my phone.
The description has steps to update the settings for the watch app so you can change it to metric to get Celcius.
The first day is there twice. F, F, S, ...
Thanks for letting me know. This is now fixed.
Would be useful to set GPS coordinations via mobile settings manualy.
If I change something in the setting I have to get GPS again in order to see the modification. Otherwise it shows a freeze red value (fenix5)
Полезный виджет, спасибо!
Fantastic widget and very responsive and helpful developer!
It seems to be a good app but for me it is not useful as the temperature is shown in F only. Trying to change in settings doesn’t work so 3 / 5 stars only
My guess is that it did change the settings properly, but didn't re-query the weather from the API yet, but will once the data is 30 minutes old. Some fixes we're out on place yesterday to force a refresh when the API or units are changed in settings, so you could also update to 0.1.1 to see if that does what you expect.
Installed on your Vivoactive HR and doesn't work.
Hmm...If you let me know what behavior you saw, I might be able to help. If it said "No GPS location", that was because you hadn't got a GPS location since the last time the watch was restarted. In version 0.0.9, I have added code to automatically get your GPS location for you if needed, so if that was your problem it may work for you now.
Good app but it would be great if it had a "dark" mode with a black background.
Good idea. Suggestion: alternatively, display the info as lines on a graph, and/or allow users to select the number of days (e.g. anything one and ten or whatever).
Celsius temperature not showed
I guess I need more details to know what you're seeing, but I can tell you that if the watch has already fetched weather data within the last 30 minutes, it will not do it again until the data is over 30 minutes old. I plan to update this soon to clear the cache if the settings are changed (units or API).
