I don't get the app to work on my watch. When I try to start the Locus Map activity it just says "Connecting..." and nothing more happens. (I am using Garmin Fenix 5) I have followed the instructions and installed the required apps on my phone, and the watch is connected to the phone.

Hi Jan, you are trying to import course. That is not supported on Vivoactive 4 and due to current bug on Garmin firmware, app will not show related message about it and instead behave like the import is in process. It was reported to Garmin. To use offline maps, just start the app from the watch. See: https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:add-ons:locusforgarmin

Unfortunately this widget is not usefull at all because android app navigation cannot works offline even with offline maps.It requires network.

When I first downloaded this app it worked very well, so I bought the premium. It still worked for a few days, since that I always get "response 0" on the phone map screen, no matter what I do, tried literally everything, reinstalled all 3 apps, tried every single setting to make it working, but nothing helps. Please fix it as soon as possible, this isn't what I paid for!

Great app but one big problem. Missing widget function so that can be used at the same time as native Garmin activity is running.. I do not like compromise that I need to use or this app or activity. I do not like option to use only Locus activity, because it's not so detailed as Garmin. So please make also Widget which can be run at the same time as other activity. Then this would be win-win situation.

A good Idea and the funtions are all taht i need to record and navigate.But the loading time of the maps is far to long which i expected.I test this on different devices ,Watches and phones.I test a short walk but at no time the gps point of the watch was like on my phone so not to use für navigation mainly for orientation if you wait a minute untilthe full map is loaded and i take a view on it.Well great idea but i think there ist bluetooth limitation. So i think it would a better idea that the data which would be transfered permantly per bluetooth wold be saved on the watch before like on fenix 2 .it should only be a storage problem.

Hi Pit, thanks for your feedback. However usual refresh time of map screen is from 6 to 12 seconds, so not sure why you get that long refresh. But in any case, it will never be as quick as on your phone due to limitations on side of Garmin connectivity capabilities. Store map permanently on device in advance is not possible to implement on Connect IQ platform.
