Works well with Android pie and Vivoactive 3. One thing I cannot figure out: it does not vibrate at all. Is the issue that the device is in dnd mode?

Vivoactive 4: Battery draining by 40 % per night. Also the app cannot be autostarted by starting sleep tracking on the phone and then tapping the green icon on the watch. App hast be started manually.

Garmin 5x+. Most of the time it makes sensors stuck - they just light with green color and measure nothing. You have to reboot device and only on cold boot it can work, but time to time.

I have a Vivoactive. The first edition, square looking one without built in HR. I also have the Garmin HR strap first edition, the one without Bluetooth. Would be nice if the SAA app for my Garmin watch can read and take the HR data connected to the HR strap (without bluetooth) since there are many other Vivoactive apps that do this; also would be nice if the sleep tracking is also entered into the Garmin Connect app since the Garmin Connect app has a sleep section. I would pay for these features. The app works only to activate, start, pause, and resume Sleep as Android tracking. App is unresponsive sometimes.

When I hit that I want to open the sleep app on my watch while trying to test the sensors, it just does not work. I hit it but it does nothing.

I got around to setting up my Vivoactive 3 last night. The good: - Sleep tracking seems more accurate vs. my Pebble 2 w/ SAA - HR shows up in SAA (red line) - It works! There are a lot of issues though: It took a while to get Sleep as Android to work properly. There are a couple of "plugin" apps to download on your phone. You then need to go through Connect IQ to get the Sleep app for VA3, which in itself was a bit messy (Sleep remained in download queue for about 30 minutes before installing). When I did manage to get it to work, it worked. That is, I slept about 7 hours and was able to capture the data (movement + HR) on the SAA app on my phone. Great. Overnight, Sleep on VA3 took the battery from 97% to 74%. Not great, but better than what other reviewers have seen for past iterations of the app. Hopefully, the engineers at Sleep will continue to optimize for better performance here. SAA did freeze when tracking stopped, which required a reset (hold button for 15s and power back on). I updated to VA3 6.90, which fixes this issue. However, 6.90 brought with it a new issue. When starting sleep tracking from the phone, it's impossible to accept (hit the green check button) on the VA3. The button does nothing. The workaround here is to launch the Sleep app from the VA3. Even here, connectivity is a bit wobbly at start. Make sure SAA launches and stays launched, because I've had everything quit out within 5 minutes. All in all, everything is OK. The experience is very fiddly, but I'm hopeful things will get ironed out in future updates. Keep up the great work, team sleep :D

Works well but the app is a massive battery hog. My Fenix 6 pro drained completely in 2 days of night tracking, which would otherwise last for at least 8-10 days with my use case.

Works pretty well. I had a week or so where my watch (Forerunner 235) was not syncing with the app on my phone; apparently there had been updates, to the Android app or the add-ons that let it sync with phone, had to uninstall and reinstall them, working again. The only other glitch, if you can call it one, is that if I get up in the middle of the night to go to the rest room and the watch and phone lose sync, even when IO go back and they do make a bluetooth connection the recording for the night does not resume. (Maybe there's a way around that, but in the middle of the night who can remember to check...?)

Since the 20190903 version this works really well on my FR935. My battery lasts ~2 more days than before and it tracks all night reliably. Kudos & thanks!

Like others you cant hit accept when sleep initiated from phone, but you can when started from watch. Sleep data is way more accurate than Garmin itself but the app has still a few huge bugs. On my Vivoactive 4 I loose about 60-70% battery during a night, also the watch will light up in the night (if you accidentally touch it) even though its set in the app to not disturb you. For now I wont use the app, draining your battery every night will decrease the overall battery capacity on the longer term. But I have good faith that one day the developer will have tackled the issue.

Its funny to me that a sleep app will force my watch to light up a room a 2:00 am. I have my watch set to sleep from 10:30 to 6:00 am to disable the screen back light from lighting up. With sleep as android running, the watch screen lights up, killing battery and annoying anyone having problems sleeping. If I could keep my screen backlight off all night this would be much better!!

Like others, can't push accept on starting sleep. Workaround is to start sleep tracking from your watch. Overall sleep tracking works well when it's started, but it's still very basic

Same problem as a lot of the people here. App used to work flawlessly. Whatever update they pushed out bricked it. Now you can't launch the app on the watch. Unable to press the accept button.

Back to working again on my VA3, still crashes when starting from phone though, no problem though. Earlier issue my have been because all the little apps weren't in autostart. Keep it up!

Does not work on my VA3 music. Watch crashes when asked to launch sleep. Won't let you select the accept button, only the deny/cancel button. Tried every combo: uninstalling app on phone and watch, resetting watch. I'm using a Pixel XL.
