Ich bekomme eine iq Fehlermeldung und die app startet nicht. Woran kann das liegen?

The current version no longer works on my Garmin Fenix 5x. I have been using this app for the last 3 months or so and I really like it but this is a bummer.

hi, This is probably related to something I added that requires the latest software update to be installed on the watch. But nevertheless I reverted, so please try with the latest version and let me know if you still have an issue

I would have loved to love this app, the only one recording climbing stats, but I can't get it to work on gamin Venu. The app would simply stop during an ascent at random times and crash.. Systematic.

It works great but recorded information is very poor

hi, Note that in the Garmin Connect mobile app you can view climbs info by going to Laps, turning your phone horizontally and scrolling all the way to the right. In Garmin Connect Web there's an issue displaying this info, but that's something that Garmin should fix... If you have other info you'd like to be displayed, please send me via feedback

I love this app. I been using it since July to measure by bouldering sessions. I'm a V0/V1 boulderer. Today, I used it to count how many V0s I could do in 40 minutes. Two days ago, I used it to count how many V1's I could at all (it also helped me time rests in between problems.) Thanks to this app, I've been able to measure by progress easily.

Level grade IQ is not a useful graph. Peaks of difficulty over time is not a good way to see what you climbed by difficulty. We need a much better chart for this information after the workout.

great app Do I somehow get a statistic? For example, how many routes do I have in a month?

Tried it out for the first time today, works really well! Glad I read the reviews/how-tos before getting on the wall so I knew what to expect. I accidentally must've double-pressed lap at some point because one of my climbs didn't get counted somehow - I had 3 climbs in the session and 4 successful climbs :)

Great app and nice layout. Works fine on the watch with good information. But in the IQ Connect there are no sum information like sum success (yes/no) or sum level x. This information are shown during record on the watch, but not on the phone. And in the grade graph all my grades are shown +1...so if i set it to grade 1 in the graph is shown as 2. Maybe u have some ideas to get this done. Thx already for the current version.

Hi, in Connect, you can see the grades and success in the Laps section - flip the phone horizontally and scroll all the way to the right. The graph portrays difficulty over time and the numbers there are 1 for the easiest, 2 for the next etc... They're not the grading system numbers

I like the App. It's a pity though that it doesn't show elevation gain in Garmin Connect (shows 0 even though ascent is eg. 50m), it is not possible to switch GPS ON/OFF, it's not possible to add climbing style after each lap (OS, flash, RP, PP, AF, TRAD...). If you export activity from Garmin Connect it doesn't export ascent/descent values correctly (probably Garmin issue). The activity starts with "climbing LAP" although most climbers have at least couple minutes warm up and stretching before first route or boulder ;-) Do you plan to add any of these in the future? Thanks a lot for the app.

Great app idea. Should record laps as sets of a strength activity type with custom exercise name at bodyweight (would make climbs editable). Needs a difficulty histogram.

Thanks. Works pretty well. Would be ace to be able to specify type of climb with grade, for instance top rope, lead, solo top rope, free solo. Also be rad to have more options than success.. Like Redpoint, onsight, flash, pink point, hang dog. Also I've Garmin linked with Strava... it'd be ace if this mapped the climb details to the Strava description. Other climbing apps can do that, it *should* be possible from Garmin connect. Anyway great job. Will definitely donate if it gets a bit of fine tuning. Very thankful nonetheless!

Great work withh the app, thank you! Missing Fontainebleau grades as mentioned and would be great to see the grades stored in IQ so to use it as a workout tracking for gym climbing and training. Keep going, I will buy you that beer! Cheers, Luis.

Fontainebleau is the system being used when selecting "Climbing Wall" (sorry for the name confusion). Grades are saved as part of the activity. To view them in the Garmin Connect app, go to Laps, flip the phone horizontally and scroll all the way to the right

Under climbing wall, I pick the grade, climb, great. But if I then climb a different grade I have to save and start again and ended up saving 15 times. I only want to save once &climb different grades

Hi, You need to press the Lap button (or swipe right for touch screen devices) at the end of the climb to switch to rest mode, and press Lap again when you're ready for the next climb. It'll then prompt for the grade. So no need to stop/start the activity to change the climb grade

It took me a while to figure out this app on my vivoactive 3. I could not figure out how to make the lap function work just as another reviewer posted. After you select the climbing level and start the climb you simply wipe right and it will ask if your climb was successful. For one week I would climb a single route and then save it out. My only suggestion is to write up how to use this app in the description.

Good app, thanks for putting it together. Agree with Segrob - the Yosemite Decimal system doesn’t work, please fix! It would also be great to be able to program for laps (e.g. on an Autobelay).

The app works great. Is there a way to make it tag Activities as "Rock Climbing" instead of Other in the Garmin Connect categories?

Tried this today for the first time. I loved it. Useful features: * Total climb time, total rest time * Ascent distance, total ascent (distances incredibly precise on the fenix 5s, seems the error is within +- 1meters, exceeds my expectations) * Keeps track of all grades and success/failure to climb * So many rankings supported (french, Yosemite, bouldering.. etc.) * HR info, calories I was able to find the grades (5.10, 5.11A etc.) reported on the mobile app but I can't seem to find them in the web client.

My only real gripe is that the climbing levels (at least for Yosemite scale) don't show up properly in the data screens in Garmin Connect. For instance, on most of my laps it shows 6L, except the one where it shows 5.10+L. I had done a 5.9 and 5.10 as well, but maybe the system is rounding those to 6? Please try and fix this.
