Previously on Fenix5 app was working very well. Now as ive switched to epix gen 2, ive encountered some freezes during workout. Basically during workout in random times, timer, speed and km just freezes for few seconds and then keeps counting. Also, seems like heart rate (using wrist heart rate from watch) is not very accurate while skating, updates slowly, havent had such issues before with the app (have been testing heart rate with different workouts wrist and belt, havent had issues), other than that, its good.

I've used this app for a couple of years to track my inline skating activities and it works very well BUT, as others have pointed out, your license will mysteriously "expire" even though you believe to purchasing a license for an app and not a subscription. It's always an easy way to NEVER get me to buy any of your apps when I find out I need to send you some more money to continue using it after I believed I had purchased it. It's frankly deceptive advertising and it's a shame.

First, let me say that I think this is a decent app for inline skating. I’ve used it on the Fenix 6x pro. I have found a few issues with it, for example when you set it to auto pause when you are stopped, about 50% of the time, it never starts back up. So, you lose the rest of your activity if you don’t notice it and restart the app. It also does not always accurately report chest HRM sensor data. The developer is very responsive and acknowledges the bugs that you report. I’ve also asked for feature requests. One would be to pop up a banner that shows the HRM is connected, like the running app does. The only way that I’ve found out that my battery was dead in my HRM was because I didn’t get any data. The biggest problem, though, is the deceptive advertising for this app. Unless you dig into his FAQs, you will be fooled into thinking that you are purchasing the app. You are not. I know, you’re supposed to read all the fine print. He’s obviously counting on you not doing that. You must pay a subscription on a regular basis! I do not purchase subscription-based applications. He writes: “This is a Premium application for $3 USD, and the free version is time limited.” How hard would it be to write “$3 per year”? I have used this app for 2 years now. Even more deceiving, last year when the app stopped working, I messaged the developer, and told him that it had gone into trial mode, when I had definitely purchased it. He replied and stated that I should just re-install and put my email address back in. I did, and it worked fine. Until last month. Which was exactly one more year. That’s when I dug deep and found that you must pay every year. That’s unacceptable and should probably be reported to Garmin. I know that I’m not the only one that has been duped, because I’ve seen quite a few other reviews that state they were fooled into thinking they were making an app purchase. Until Garmin releases their native inline skating app, I’ll go back to using the running app.

O have purchased this app is ok overall, miss the map location and the ability to change every icon in the same face and not have to scroll the watch face to see the rest of the data, unfortunately as the map is missing and it crashes when I scroll the windows. I have Fenix 7 I will no longer use it.

Drains the battery faster even if not in use on my Garmin Fenix 6. Before installing it, full charge usually lasts about approx 5-6 days with pulse ox On during sleep only. When I had it installed, a full charge now lasts only 2 days max.

Works fine for ice skating, but unfortunately it drains the battery of my Venu 2, even when it's not in use. I recognized the same with the F3B Dancing App. So I'm not really happy with my purchase.

I've purchased the application's perpetual license some time back. Developer decided to time limit the license later and the application is not working now, Can't believe Garmin allows such practice in their App Store. Developer's website does not have contact details, otherwise I would take this where it belongs, straight to the BBB.

Fijne app. Laat alles zien wat je wil weten tijdens het skeeleren. Website, betalen en activeren zijn wat rommelig. Dat zou naar mijn mening verbetert kunnen worden.

Bis zur letzten Version (7.4) fand ich die App sehr gut und hilfreich, ich habe sie regelmäßig beim Nordic Skaten eingesetzt. Leider verhakt sich die App seit der Version 7.5 bei mir bei jedem Gebrauch, sie vibriert ziemlich häufig, zeigt irgendwelche Menüs an und lässt sich nicht mehr schließen. Und wirklich nervig ist es, wenn das ganze Training dabei verloren geht!

Thanks for this, it's great app. I seem to be having trouble with laps. I normally skate in an outdoor oval and had autolap by position, but the workouts are collected as a single "lap". Also, as a potential improvement, can you add a data field for the actual time? I find there are three time settings that add value (to me): overall timer, active time and the actual time. Thanks

Worked just fine! Supscription model isnt something I really like, but better this than nothing. @Dev: Is there a possibility to switch to metric units like km and km/h? If not please implement! Would be super helpfull. Thanks für this fine app

Very good app. I just can't figure out how to get the current activity data on the Venu 2 plus when it's paused. Is it even possible?

First, I wish the Garmin watch had a native app for inline skating / rollerblading. As a secondary option this app seems good (only tried it today) but beware: it is not a $3 app. It is a subscription, and only good for a year. I personally detest subscriptions - i don't need yet another thing to keep track of on an ongoing basis. I would rather buy something and never worry about it. So, i will look for a different alternative.
