The watch faces from this developer has slowed down my GARMIN fenix 5s. Not just this face but I have tried the other faces as well. I paid for the bundle pack but am not happy with it slowing down the watch. While the faces look good and has more details on it, it should not bring down the performance of the watch.

Hi Karthikeyan. Thank you very much for your rating. You are right, it should not slow down the performance of the watch. Unfortunately things are much more complicated than they seem. Please allow us to quickly explain the problem you are describing: the problem lies within Garmin's platform. You can’t use graphics if you want it to be beautifully anti-aliased and because of that you run into all sorts of problems. It’s very hard to put together a decent looking watchface on this platform as it is because Garmin has made things ridiculously difficult/impossible. Other watchface OS’ are much better in this regard, unfortunately. We are trying the best we can but still there are many of our designs which will never see the light of day on Garmin because it would simply be too resource-/memory-hungry on these watches. Tl;dr: you have to choose between either having a rather plain looking which has no lag and is not as ressource-hungry or a beautifully designed watchface which comes with a lag on Garmin. I really love how custimizable these are, there are so many colors to pick from. A lot of pink, green and blue variants. I do wish there were more yellow, etc.. But the ones given are great. this one in particular is three boxes, so you can make them representative of flags, etc. I am giving 5 stars because it is great, the only thing I would change (may you can in the paid version) is the ability to keep the information within the boxes centered like they are, even if you turn off notifications and alarms. Moving them down when you hide those, takes away from the overall appeal I think.

Thank you very much for your rating, Valerie. We offer the full 64 colour palette of Garmin since all watches except for the Venu only offer 64 colours. So we have to work with what is supported by the hardware. As for the moving down of the stats: this is the intended behaviour which we prefer. Hi Matt. Thank you very much for your review. Your Fenix uses the MIP display technology, which means the colours only look their best in bright day/sunlight and look washed out when it's dark. That's just a given of this technology and there is nothing we can do about it.
