Easy to use - works fine on my 2X. Grid reference matches the 'OS Locate" app on my phone (which is provided by Ordnance Survey) so clearly works well.

I've tested the accuracy of this widget on my Garmin Instinct 2 against an OS map, using a grid reference tool, and it was very accurate each time. The coordinates appeared very quickly whilst I had the GPS activated. This widget wasn't available for the Instinct 2 when I first looked and, after contacting Simon the developer asking when it might be available, I was able to upload it within a couple of days. Thank you Simon for a great service and a great OS widget.

Thanks for creating this function. For anyone using OS maps this is really useful. It's brilliant to be able to just cross check a position on the map with ease. Such a great feature. Thanks for sharing it.

Fantastic, works perfectly on the fenix 6X. I was able to add the OS Grid Ref as a data screen for my trail run and it allows me to quickly pinpoint my position on a map.

Very reassuring as a novice map reader to have a back up plan, and this app is perfect for when I'm out of my local area. It's simple, not fussy, and all I need thanks Simon!

A really useful thing to have as a back up. I couldn’t see how to get to the widget once in an activity such run or walk but that aside I am v pleased with this. Thanks.

I would love to rate this app more, but it does not seem to work with my Garmin Venu. It just continually says that there is no GPS, and never displays a grid reference. I have tried setting the watch to a run so that the GPS is turned on but have had no luck, so I'm quite disappointed

This is such a brilliant little widget in the right circumstances. Thank you so much, Simon, for taking the trouble to share it. As a keen walker, who generally relies on the old-fashioned map-and-compass, this is a wonderful quick-fix/backup in situations where I’m a even a tiny bit uncertain when consulting a map. It’s not instant but it has rarely taken more than a few seconds to confirm location.

This really should be included with any standard Garmin watch. The OS app is simple and does one thing very well - give me my position that I can use to relocate myself on a map or in extremis, inform Mountain Rescue for assistance. Why it is not included in the standard Garmin inbuilt apps is a serious omission. Congratulations to Simon for filling the void. Particularly like the big digit display on my Fenix 5 watch face. Prefect for the typical UK rain and stormy weather we can have without having to get the specs out!! Thanks a lot - simply great...

Thanks for making this widget. I work a lot with OS maps when doing wildlife surveys and this widget mean I can use my Garmin Fenix to transfer my position quickly and easily on to an OS map. Really helpful. Thanks :)

Thanks Simon for a brilliant improvement! The 8 digit grid reference readable without specs on the wrist when in (or out) of the driving rain is just what I need when I suspect I'm not where I thought I was or just need some reassurance.

Fantastic Widget, Thank you. I do a lot of running and walking in the Brecon Beacons but I’m old-school and prefer map and compass. When the cloud comes in, though you have to micro navigate. This widget gives precise, uncomplicated information. A great safety backup. Thanks.

Was waiting not very patiently, for the update for the Fenix 6. Brilliant widget, accurate and a must for any UK based navigation with OS maps.

This is a seriously good app for UK based walkers and hikers. It confirms one's position for either use with a paper OS map or the OS digital version. I had it on a Fenix 5S and now on a Fenix 6S Pro. Works very well - shows the grid reference easily and conveniently. Recommended.

Worked instantly and accurately on download, before I had even stepped outside. A really useful backup for a keen walker like myself and giving a simple check on location when used with a map. (Forerunner 645)
