AK Pulse is transforming you watch to an ANT+ HR sensor, it's to broadcast heartrate to any device. Simply start AK Pulse and pair your device (e.g. other Garmin devices like Edge, ...). AK Pulse is using a minimum of ressource, as an gimmic it's showing how much battery drained by app (in % per hour).</p><p>Note: There is no need to activate pulse transfer in pulse widget.</p><p>ANT+ ID is 51068, right digit can be changed via inapp settings.

Excellent much needed simple app! Much, much more simpler workflow then the existing way to broadcast your heartrate. For the developer; not sure if you can add keywords but I couldn't find this in Connect IQ doing a search for broadcast and heartrate. Luckily I found your post in a dc rainmaker site. Anyone with a VA or Venu that broadcast to an Edge should have this app. One thing to note is it will show up as a different heartrate device ID then the built in broadcaster. Also, running this app will not auto lock your watch if you have it auto lock in activity only. 5 star app!
