CGM WATCH 2 is an update of my app CGM WATCH. Now the app gets your bloodglucose readings directly from your Nightscout-Website hosted by azure or heroku. The functionality is nearly the same: The app does not only display the time, but it also shows the last blood glucose reading including the trend of the last readings.

If you haven't a running Nightscout installation but your bloodglucose in a mlab database, then use the older app CGM WATCH. If you are using xDrip+ switch to xDrip+ Watch, which connects directly with the xDrip+ app without the need of internet access.

KNOWN ISSUES

Some Garmin Connect Mobile builds (f. e. v4.1.11 from 2018/01/19) seems to have problems to handle json requests. If you notice crashes, please delete the Garmin Connect Mobile app and install an older version after, e. g. v4.1.5. from 2017/11/17:

https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/garmin/garmin-connect-mobile/garmin-connect-mobile-4-1-5-release/garmin-connect-mobile-4-1-5-android-apk-download/

"Enter your Nightsocut URL with the Garmin mobile connect app on your smartphone (your-name.herokuapp.com or your-name.azurewebsites.net)." There is no way to write it in garmin movile connect app ;(

Very clean, and easy to use. I would love to see the exact same product as a Widget or a Watch face so I could receive smart notification as the same time. Otherwise, I love the look and ease of use of this App!

Looks exactly the same as the original CGM Watch app, but the setup is much easier (doesn't involve an API), just your azure name. I downloaded both on my watch and checked the time from starting the app to having the CGM data appear and with the Watch 1 app, it took on average (from 3 trials) 6 seconds, while the Watch 2 app took on average (from 3 trials) 10 seconds. Since I already have the original Watch app set up and it seems to be a tad faster in my limited comparison of the two, I think I'll stick with it, but this app works just as well and with the easier set up, it can get other diabetics up and running faster on the nightscout system, which is the main goal, so thank you!
