GC Assistant is a very simple widget for continual navigation to the chosen target (especially for geocaching). Because GC Assistant is a widget, you can use it during any activity (e.g. run, bike etc.). And that is why this widget is a good helper for every running geocacher without mobile phone. I was hooping that this widget would be helpfull geocaching, but when the widget keep on changeing back to the the original coordinates, the name you can change but that is not really helping

Not very reliable on Fenix 6. The coordinates are reset to the default state after while. During our holiday it happened already for the 3rd time. The watch were not record during the time not updated. Why are the days not persistent?

I couldn't enter a 6 into the 3rd number space for the lattitude. So I couldn't enter the coordinates I wanted hence couldn't use the app to get there at all.

Inputting the name and the coordinates is horrible on the watch screen! I would give this five stars if names and coordinates could be sent from the phone to the watch. For example, from the Garmin Connect app.

Thanks for update. Works great. Off course, thats an widget and can‘t stay „always on“. ALL widgets don‘t stay. After a certain time, they are switching back.

When the widget is used, the screen changes to the clock screen after a certain period of time. I would like the screen to stay fixed until the destination destination.

Widgets will timeout and automatically shutdown after a device specific period of inactivity. (official information from Garmin company) But when you show GC Assistent widget while an activity (run, bike,...) is in progress, our widget will be displayed permanently.
