Zones are based on percentages of lactate threshold heart rate and are numbered z1,z2..z5a, z5b, z5c (see various sources for the rationale such as Joe Friel or Alp Trg) The field adapts to its location on screen to maximise its visual impact where multiple fields are presented on the same screen.
