Datafield for Garmin devices that calculates the slope (or grade) of the hill you are walking on. It publishes the grade value (in %) to Garmin Connect so you can have a timeline inside your activity. It is based on the information provided by the GPS altitude (or barometric altitude on those chic devices).</p><p>My experience is that it takes around 5 minutes for the device to properly stabilize the altitude data so before that, some erratic measurements can be obtained.</p>
From version 1.2.0 the buffer rescaling has been removed to simplify operation and avoid possible issues.</p><p>The data export to Garmin Connect has been conditioned to regressor update (when stated elapsed distance has been reached)
