CyclingDF7 2 is neither a watch face nor a widget nor a standalone application, but a data field which MUST be added to one of the Garmin native apps. It runs on all Connect IQ™-compatible Garmin smart watches and most Edge devices with CIQ 2 or higher. The main purpose is to extend the chosen Garmin native app by additional features for improving your cycling performance. The data field shows the current time and battery status in the header/footer as well as 7 freely configurable metrics of your ride. </p>

Not compatibele with vivoactive 4. Also in this latest version. Time is not readable on Vivoactive 4 because of setting background in gray. In app it is possible to change the setting but to white and read the time but you can’t use Garmin Pay in activity mode. You have to stop activity, Pay your coffee, and start a new activity.

The app does what it promises: a customized display via displayfield, that seems for the garmin as 1 field ,in practice all fields are displayed as chosen in the app settings. It is capable really detecting power data on device which in theory not compatible with power data readings (vivoactive 4s). However, I have experienced a serious battery drain, I have lost 60%of battery from yesterday , I was stopping the activity (indoor cycling), and yet it was still consuming lot of energy..I do not know weather it was running still in the background, even though no other application was using this data field. Datafield setting was the following: power, m-power, avg power, cad, speed, hr, time. If this issue was not happening, i would have given 5 stars. I wish luck to the developer to solve this issue, maybe HR reading, continuos running in the background is creating the problem. ( I am open for suggestions). The watch itself was running the latest available software.

Great data field for cycling but not able to get cadence data field to show. I have a Garmin Forerunner 645 and Giant Ridesense Spd/Cad sensor and the Garmin is able to connect and record both both but this data field only shows Speed data. Am I doing something wrong??
